why is Soundwave such a badass?

    In every series he is in, whether its the original G1 cartoon or the movie, he is just so damn cool!!!

    He actually isn't that much of a badass, when you think about it. In G1 he just had a cool voice, that's it. He was rarely shown to be doing anything exceptional. He pretty much didn't pop up for years until Cybertron, where he was a jive-talking troll. In Animated he was cool, but he acted alone and wasn't super cool. Movie verison is pretty rad, though, and so is Prime. Movie version is this extremely sadistic tormentor, whiel Prime's is a sneaking, silent observer.

    Because he's a professional. No over the top schemes, chewing the scenery, or hammy acting. Cold, methodical, consistent performance without complaints, problems, or mercy. THAT is why he's a badass.

    Also because he has beasts and tiny men living inside his chest. That's also pretty badass I guess.

    oh no soundwave was clearly megatrons right hand. he kept an eye on everything, everyone, everywhere. to some a gnarc may not be cool, however, keeping the bossman on top? and keeping the men in check? that was his role. as far as G1.
