Why is it in Wildrider's colours?

IMHO, that mould could be work for Brakedown, Dead End, and Wildrider.

Just do not repaint Optimus Prime as Motormaster...

Probably the same reason why Universe 2.0 Powerglide had his colours reversed. Gray with red highlights.

Because Alt. Dead End exists and gave him a new colour scheme to use

Because really I don't think many people really batted an eye at the crappy little Stunticon homage redecoed from a past Stunticon homage not being the right Stunticon homage.

    Maybe "Wildrider" wasn't available.

That toy was from ROTF, not Generations.

^ I think that's it. I don't think Hasbro has the trademark for Wildrider.

Oh yeah. Damn FunPub. Always messing up my theories.

Hasbro's used Dead End pretty steadily for a while- Armada, Alternators, and a good handful of times from RotF to now. Can't recall one mass-release figure using "Wildrider" though.

    I'm sorry I was mistaken.
That said, based on their track record, supposing they used the Hasbro Dead End mold for Wildrider, I don't see them using the same deco on it all. [Half of it would have to be stickers, am-I-right? ;) ]

Odd that they had "The Motormaster" back then, but the Legends/Legion figure from the GDO assortment and the Ultimate Giftset is called "Motorbreath".

Maybe because they didn't want to call it "The Motormaster"?

    But yeah, it is odd.

God damn it...I pre-ordered that hoping for a third TFP Stunticon.

EDIT: WAIT! Hasbro HAS to have Wildrider! They used the name for the BotCon '11 Animated Stunticons set, I have two of them!

Got him today. All I can see when I look at it is Wildrider.

Been wanting Scout Stunticons for years. Pity the ROTF Dead End/Nightbeat had that horrible head. At least I'm getting my KO Robotmaster Mirage repainted as Dragstrip.

I hate the Cybertron Prime mold. For years I've wanted Motormaster repainted from RID Ultra Magnus.

And yes, 'The Motormaster' does sound cool.
