why is dlx ratchet so bad(hasbro)?do you guys like ratchet?

i just bought mine and i hate him it has way way to much kibble on him!

 

I actually like it a lot, albeit, I DO plan on painting it. :/

 

i so want to return mine at target!

 

For some reason, Hasbro doesn't like doing voyager Ratchets anymore.

 

it seems like ratchet is more and more sloppy each toyline!

 

Since when? How many times was movie Voyager Ratchet repainted and re-released?

Anyway, I love dlx Prime Ratchet. Not a perfect fig sure, but I still love him.

 

I have had no issues or problems with any of the voyager/deluxe Ratchet figures we've gotten since TFTM.

I've actually bought most of the versions of the voyager Movie Ratchet figure.

 

I don't like TFP Ratchet, I love the figure. This version beats Animated Ratchet as my favorite version of the character both in show and in toy.

 

It makes a huge difference. I loved mine after fixing him up.

 

I think prime ratchet is great.
I would have liked the backpack to be closed in like on the show.
Yes, that back kibble is supposed to be there.
It's just supposed to be closed in more.

 

I'd love Prid Ratchet if he had a bit more bulk to him. Still my 2nd favorite Ratchet toy behind the original animated Ratchet DLX.

 

I love him (along with all other Deluxe Ratchets).

 

I like him but still hold out hope for a Voyager version someday.

 

Yeah, my only problem with Ratchet is that it's not a Voyager.

And seriously, what kibble? He has a backpack that he has in the show, two pieces on his sides that don't affect anything, and his legs which fill out his legs.

 

Deluxe Ratchet is amazing. Anyone who says otherwise is insane.

Personally, after he's painted, I find Ratchet to be excellent. And deluxe is my favorite size class, so I don't feel the need for a voyager at all. The only Ratchet toy that was really bad was Classics. That piece of garbage should be crushed, burned, and mailed to Abu dabi.

 

I don't love mine. I like it but I don't love it. I constantly have to fight to get the cab roof into or out of position during transformation. Also he needs more paint, but luckily Cheetimus Prime did a fantastic touch up on him that I now have a blueprint. But I think my biggest issue with him is his shoulders aren't wide enough. It seems like Ratchet on the show has a very wide chest and shoulders. Perhaps being a voyage would have solved this but looking at the figure in a vacuum he looks too thin to me.

But he's still a good Ratchet.

 

He's missing paint and he's a bit small and his face has no chracter to it. he's not terrible just that he'd make a better Voyager I suppose.

 

Why is the Takara version worse is what I wonder.
