I've been looking around online for this figure and it is ridiculously expensive. Was it a low volume release or what? why is it over $100 in most places?

huh? Cybertron defense Force Scattorshot. It was a voyager class figure.

 

Simply put, he's one of the best-looking figures from the line. That being said, I'll eternally be in search of an affordable one.

 

Ah the tank. I dunno, I saw it a couple of month ago, at TRU for 25 euros ( less that 24 bucks).

 

ebay has one, loose, complete, with hot shot, for, $2.25, *auction price*

but yea for some reason, it is pricy, try the japanese version?

toys n joys has it for $50, how ever i have never bought from them before, so i have no idea, if they are a good place to buy or not, but, it is an option, but on the other hand they are in hawaii!

 

CDF Scattorshot, is awesome, and all good Cybertron toys, I've noticed, are going up in price. Here would be a good place to wait and buy one, but eBay's prices are ridiculous.

However, the original Cyb. Scattorshot (the scout), can easily be purchased at a Family Dollar since it was released in Universe, so that might satisfy an outbreak of needing CDF Scattorshot until you can get one.

 

Don't purchase from Toys & Joys- the owner has a reputation as a scammer of sorts.

You're better off throwing your money in the trash- it will save a few irate emails.

 

yea see, like i said, i had no idea if he could be trusted or not, how ever, you probably still can try back guild, but i don't seem to be able to find any, so not sure what to tell you.

just remember, always ask here, before you buy from some place new, it's what i do, you normally get an answer back pretty quick  

 

Wow I havent check on him since I bought him I guess a year ago. Glad to know that I bought something for regular price and has gone up in value. Normally its the other way around in terms of I wait to buy something then its is 3 or 4 times the price it started at.

 

yeah, that fracking company charged my credit card for something that i ordered that was out of stock, and that they had no resupply date on...nice following laws of you can only be billed for when it ships....

took 4 phone calls and lots of hate mails get my money back,

great, now I want one even more than before. I offered 32 for a loose one on eBay but I'm pretty sure that since the asking price was something around 60 for BIN I won't be getting it for that.

 

It's especially amazing considering how many people were so vocal about how Classics was a much better line than Cybertron.

 

man, and I just paid almost $40 for a cd red alert that I was going to use for a kitbash. makes me almost not want to do that now...

 

yeah, cybertron had some amazing toys. the gimic didn't intrude on the look, or playability on 98% of the line, and that makes a good toy.

i have a cyb def scattershot i WAS going to sell, but kept him in storage thinking that it wasn't that sought after and i may as well keep him, but now, wow, i might just go back home next month and get him and put him up for grabs.
