The newly released Robots in Disguise line of Transformers: Prime, aside from a few figures, is just godawful. Many of the new molds like Revealer Bumblebee, Powerizer Optimus, and Revealer Cliffjumper are just terrible. The sculpts aren't very pleasing to they eye nor are they anywhere as show-accurate as the First Editions. The gimmick on the Powerizers barely work (especially Optimus') and the upcoming Bulkhead figure looks like crap.

Is there any way that you can try to convince me that this:

is far more superior to this:

This line has some real potential, but what's been shown lately doesn't impress me in the least.

So, anyone want to join me in the small sane group of people who just doesn't care about accuracy?

It's not only about accuracy, it's also poor design.

This is the coolest story I've read all year, bro. You should be in a newspaper. Then you'll get the attention you are obviously dying for.

    I get what you mean.

And it's also a bad sign that the CYBERVERSE COMMANDER toy is a better tpy than the POWERIZER.

And for the Bulkhead......just face it.....it's just a big fucked up gun that sucks..... with a Bulkhead toy.

    It just sucks.

EDIT: Shit......I guess I made the wrong choice...*gulp*.

I AM SO GODDAMN FASCINATED BY YOUR OPINION ON THIS MATTER. WHY DON'T YOU MAKE SEVERAL MORE THREADS ABOUT THIS TO ENSURE WE CAN ALL BENEFIT FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE?

    *dusts off jacket*

    My work here is done.

They're just toys. They look decent to me. They never have to be perfect.

Why do you care about the toys at all? Why not just get a shoebox and stick wheels on it? You can call that Bulkhead. Who cares about accuracy? Right?

Forgive me for waiting until the toy is actually available before deciding to write it off completely.

I don't understand what you are trying to imply here by me supposedly "wanting attention". I don't. I'm just outraged at Hasbro/Takara Tomy for creating such poorly made figures for a line with so much potential.

It's not that I don't care about accuracy. It's that at the end of the day I want something that I can enjoy and just play around with that for the most part resembles the character.

I just don't understand why Hasbro made two designs in the first place. I could understand if they were in different classes, but why make two different versions of the same voyager class figure (or whatever class)? I could understand if maybe they threw some extra bells and whistles, or better paint apps on the FE figures to make it special, but I don't see why they had to completely change molds. Seems like it was a lot of extra work on their part.

    Reductio ad absurdum.

    Shame, shame, shame.

His point was that he likes good toys, even if they don't look like anything that's been in a work of fiction.

What work? All you did was write something that has no point at all to what I am trying to discuss.

Powerizer Optimus is actually not that bad once you get him IMO. The gun kind of bothered me, but you can position the gun on the arm so that the gun stays in its gun mode if you get the back of the gun under his shoulder.

    1. Go to the resources section
    2. Click on Prime, and then Knockout
    3. Compare Knockout's photoshopped toy to the prototype
    4. Remember to use brain and analyzing skills
    5. Learn that Hasbro can't Transform their own products in official pics

DOTM toyline had the same gimmick with the same level of engineering and it still had gems here and there. Same with RiD.

I personally didn't care for FE. Really much more interested in Cyberverse, RiD Vehicon and Soundwave.

Oh, I'm sorry. You have them in hand? No. You are just whining like a toddler over pictures of toys.
