Before I'm laughed off of the message board hear me out. First off, George Lucas wouldn't write the script, he'd definitely hire someone this time and I'm sure he'd hire one of the best in the business. With George Lucas at the helm, we'd definitely see Cybertron in all it's glory. Instead of seeing a barren wasteland, we'd definitely see one of the most advance cities ever seen on screen. Full of robots of all shapes, makes, and sizes. Plus, George Lucas likes CGI characters more then real actors. So we'll definitely see more robots and less shots of the Humans and the US military.

Also, George Lucas is very adept at filming ranged combat. Michael Bay depends on to much Melee fighting with the Transformers. With George Lucas, we'd actually see more ranged battles with the robots utilizing a myriad of laser weapons. With Lucas directing we'll also see many different planets, giving the series a more sci-fi feel to it. Last but not least, George Lucas is very good at shooting action sequences, especially chase sequences. So that's my case for George Lucas, he's the best man for the job, search your feelings, you know this to be true;)

And then it's revealed that cybertronians can only transform because of "transformachlorians" in their oil.

And if people thought Skids & Mudflap were bad before, what would happen when they're in the hands of the guy who INVENTED Jar-Jar?

Meh, I want solid characters, and Episode III aside, Lucas hasn't shown me something like that. He's good with action scenes (I still praise the Darth Maul fight to this day), but he can't direct a god dialogue to save his life.

I totally agree but it will never happen, plus I think Lucas has gone off the deep end, he already raped Indy please don't let him rape the Transformers

I endorse this idea actually. For all the crap he takes for the prequels, he is very imaginative and meticulous.

True, but at-least his listened to the fans and pretty much banished him from Episodes 2 and 3.

Lucas is a crap director these days. I doubt he would do anything beneficial to the series.

    Guys...
GL just created the biggest phenomenon of cinematography.
The god of Star Wars could pull out an amazing TF movie alongside with Spielberg as executive producer.
    And they're friends too.
Also, Mr. Lucas is not that busy, right now.

ROTF is a 1000 times better then the Star wars Trilogy... *new one*

no thank you. even with out much "plot" it's still WAY better the anything lucas has worked on since, Land Before Time.
