Spartans are unlike to discuss philosophy xd but I get your point. However I like the idea of Transformers being fascinated from Earth customs and choosing to adapt to it. Could have used a little more development though

I'd rather have a transformer that resembles a Spartan over one that resembles a Greek philosopher. :lol

Well, considering that Spartan society was based around mass slavery and thoroughly militarised, I'd like to see a Spartan-inspired Decepticon. That'd be a perfect fit.

Being fascinated with Earth Customs is one thing but honestly they stopped looking transformers at that point and started looking like metallic people that just came out of an Andy Warhol fashion show. Next sequel Drift will be eating tiny energon cubes with chopsticks....

That's another problem, the designe. You're not the only one who noticed that since AOE they started looking more human than robots with less pieces of vehicles visible and something like that. But if you manage to create a balance it can be a great idea. Bludgeon for example have looked like an evil samurai since G1

That would be cool! Except that Decepticons usually don't simpathize for Earth culture too much.. however there have been indeed notable exceptions such as Knockout from Transformers Prime who enjoyed a lot of human culture.

Personally I like the different accents in the movie. Drift's look wasn't bad at all, (with the exception you wouldn't know he was a transformer by looking at him) but the in the accent and haiku and calling Prime Sensei, then we're getting over the top. Dino's accent was cool but you didn't have him looking like a Roman soldier and referring to Prime as emporor.

Well that's just ridiculous because everyone knows Romans have english accents, not Italian.

Well they are the same thing, right? Although some Spartans have Scottish accents as well.

There's nothing wrong with the look, but honestly the Japanese accent and Haiku's mixed in and Prime being a sensei was a bit much. It would be stupid if they had a Greek/Spartan looking bot sporting a Greek accent and talking about mythology.

The accents are awesome in DOTM. Road Buster's Scottish accent was badass but you didn't see him sporting a robotic kilt and carrying a metallic bagpipe

The Haikus were maybe a bit much, but if he didn't have the accent then he would probably be accused of being whitewashed since he looks so obviously japanese.

And Roadbuster didn't have a kilt and bagpipe, but he had a very obvious Nascar fan stereotype going on. All three of the Wreckers did, especially noticeable in the head designs.

This is a tangent, but I still think Knockout should've changed his name and colors after he renounced the Decepticons. He would've been amazing as the Aligned version of Tracks.

I'm guessing it was half of the joke for his character. The other half being hiring a great actor to voice him and giving him fuck all to have fun with.
