does anyone know the answer to this question?
He didn't do too fantastically in the Marvel comics either. I'm sure Bumblebee keeps killing him on the quiet so he can be the top yellow Autobot car.
i can see that but sunstreakers a badass and bumblebee is just small and useless tends to get in the way
So...G1 Bumblebee is small, useless and got in the way?
That explains why he was chosen as leader of the autobots. No way was he caring, likeable, responsible, courageous or any of that stuff....
As for Sunstreaker, he really only "died" once. I mean he was still alive when he was under the control of the Machination and had his mind transfered over to his headmaster body. And even though he apparently killed himself in AHM, Ironhide proved that he was still alive and just barely hanging on by a thread.
So while he danced with death twice, he never fully bit the dust.....
is it really sunstreakers mind in his body?
or is there any chance that it might actually be hunter onions mind being completely overridden by sunstreakers personality and memories in sunstreakers body?
When he was bonded to Hunter he was still him and Hunter was still Hunter. It was a Firestorm-like senario. Two minds in one body.
It was the same when they were seperated between the "-tion" saga and AHM. Sunstreaker was still himself and was back to being a regular transformer.
So again, Sunstreaker pretty much never died.
Since my memory is hazy on Marvel comics, and non-existent on anything else comic related, i'll refer to his character profile which suggested he was not a team player, and somewhat prone to taking risks.
