If I were to pen a screenplay for a live action TF movie, I would base Starscream on his Armada iteration.

 

The way he lives becomes the way he dies

 

Well, something has to happen to him in order for the immortal aspect of his character to show up (undying spark ghost thing, AllSpark Shard replacement, undead resurection).

Although more often than not his rather undignified deaths tend to be exactly what he deserves. Excluding Armada Screamer, of course, who was one of the best things of the Armada era.

 

Dirge was pretty much the Starscream of Armada and died like a little bitch. Armada Starscream on the other hand went out like a badass. But most of the Armada deaths tended to be pretty awesome.

As for cybertron, he got punched into oblivion by Galvatron and was gone for most of the rest of the series but at least in a name drop was supposedly "detected" near the end alive again. Not sure if Energon counts since if you follow Cybertron neither Galvatron nor Starscream died, but rather fused wth the energon sun to come back in Cybertron.

 

Starscream

Because Starscream is against Megatron so if he isn't with Megatron he dies. Seriouslly though I think Starscream would be a lot better then Megatron but that could be because I'm a big Starscream fan.
Also here's my ratings for my favorite Starscreams #1 Being the best.

1 Armada 10 because he's a badass.

2 G1 because he's also cool and cannot be cool

3 Prime Starscream is cool. I like him

4 I like animated Starscream the least.

I won't include Beast Wars 2, Kre-0, SG or Transtech because I've never really seen those continuities nor have I seen the Japanese cartoons so I can't really add them.

 

Starscream deserve the way that he has died

 

Starscream had the worst death out of anybody in the movies. It was flat out ridiculous.
