    Probably because he's the coolest Autobot in the movies who doesn't get as much screentime as Bee or Optimus.

    That and no mourning for him.

    That's all subjective though.

    01) He's my favorite character
    02) The way he goes out disgusts me
    03) He's apparently not mentioned or mourned
    04) I'm sick of the Autobots outside of Prime & Bee being fodder or background noise
    05) I would really like to enjoy the movie more than I'm going to thanks to this

    I put this in spoilers because it's obvious from my custom title who my favorite character is.
