To be honest I actually liked the way he looked in the movie. I just think he look impressive in a way in my opinon. Though in terms of character that honor proudly belongs to the TFP Starscream!

As far as I am concerned, you don't have to wait years for the next episode of PRIME.

 

Watched through a few episodes of Transformers: Prime.
It was pretty good, I do enjoy more bot time etc, but I just can't bring myself to watch cartoons. No matter how good they are, I just get turned off from them.

 

But really guys--My younger brothers watched Prime when it first came out and I was like "Yeah! Let's see how they spin it off this time." I finished one episode and wanted to barf. Yeah, CGI's pretty good. Yeah, it's not dirty. But it seems written for WAY too young an audience. The Movies definitely have their flaws, but they're ten million times more enjoyable than this crap of a series. It's like the freakin' 20 year old men that sit in their Mom's basement watching My Little Pony. Pathetic.

Let's just face the fact that NO ONE really does the Transformers in general any justice without cutting back on some area.

-Movies=cut back on robots and focused on Megan Fox

-TFP=cut back on characters, plot, maturity, and actual voice acting

I'm a fan of Transformers not money so I take a series that gives me the stuff I'm looking for as a fan over something that just puts money in other people's pockets. I was a fan of Transformers long before there was ever any notion of live action films so it's not like I need any of the things a big budget film brings to be happy with Transformers.

I like the designs better on Transformers Prime because the robot modes are sleeker which is just more visually appealing to me. I also like that the designs are more consistent so they all seem to be from the same race instead of a hodge podge of designs.

I like for the Decepticons to be characters and not always easy to beat. Even better when Autobots have to defeat the Decepticons instead of humans. Ah and thank goodness the Transformers Prime team knows how important it is that Starscream can smirk.

The writing is just so much better as well. You feel like Prime is a rough spot caught up in a war he doesn't want to fight. Megatron is nice and evil. Heck even silent ninja Soundwave beats out movie Soundwave sounding like he should be saying "Next time Gadget!"

i think people say the movieverse is more mature because,TFP is a cartoon
and people have the misconception that cartoons are watched only by kids,an immature audience.
but really,I don't see why grown-ups cannot watch cartoons without being accused of being childish.
