Deluxes with good, solid weapons > Deluxes with bigass microns.

Voyagers suffer either way. But at least the Hasbro ones have secondary weapons that are solid.

Yeah, after what I've been hearing about the stickers on some of the Arms Micron series, I'd rather have a durable paint job that's more accurate to the show over more generic mini-con weapons that will never appear and crappy stickers.

Plus, the Japanese Prime figures ALL have significant remolding in order to accommodate the microns that end up making the toy less accurate. For example, Soundwave has giant cannon like things molded onto the parts of the wings that form his shoulders simply to mount the mini-con in.

Plus, they're selling individual microns anyway, so it's not like you can't outfit the Hasbro figures with Microns anyway. The only difference being that Hasbro still hasn't released news about Breakdown even being released even now that we have photographic evidence the figure exists over in Japan.

Because apparently lights and moving parts that don't lock are funner then 2 toys in one or Hasbro doesn't remember what Targetmasters are even though one was released last year...

Because we want glowing blocks! It's what the children want!

But I'd kill for AM Breakdown to get a US release. I want that hammer. Not the glowing, spinning hammer the voyager will probably come with.

I hope Hasbro finds a way to release them here separately. Ideally, in blind bags like the MLP figurines or the Lego minifigs.

I don't want mechtech or AM. I want figures without tumors and holes all over them.

I'd prefer to have paint, myself.

I'm honestly not that impressed with the AM gimmick. Its about on par with the silly MechTech/Powerizer gimmick for me - but then again, they're not designing these things with 41 year old kids in mind, are they? :D

    Because they're stupid.

It was okay in G1 when they were called target masters.....but not anymore.

As a person who likes Targetmasters, I have to ask - why would you even want them? They ruin the main figure with those hideous tacked on ports, and most of the microns look like crap. There are a few that are okay, like Soundwave's, but that's it.

Microns aren't that good. Yay for oversized cluttery weapons that turn into irrelevant characters!

They got PCCs too, so that's pretty moot.

because if i remember right, japan loved the minicons, so they incorporated them and the model kit trend into the japanese prime line.

Coincidentially, Japan redecoed some PCC Mini-Cons and sold them as Arms Microns.

From what I've seen, Transformers hasn't been doing the greatest in Japan. Not horrible, but not great. Model kits are big there, so the designers put in the stickers and model kit Microns to convert these figure into something close to model kits. Basically, it's a move to try to increase it's popularity. In Japan, TFs have a lot to compete with, not to mention that the usual super robot show usually has piloted robots, not sentient ones.
