Why didn't Roadbuster (Green NASCAR) get a movie-accurate figure?

One thing that I'm really disappointed about as far as toys go with DOTM, is the fact that Roadbuster, the Green Dale Earnhardt Jr. #88 NASCAR, will not a get a toy that is based off of his appearance in the film.
We know that the Wreckers have suped-up, weaponized NASCARS as their alternate modes, and we know that Topspin (at least) will be getting a figure based on his appearance in the film.
What I don't understand is why Roadbuster won't be getting one? Typically, there is a lot of marketing with Dale Earnhardt Jr., so it doesn't really make sense why his car wouldn't be made into a full figure.
Does anyone have any thoughts, or know why Roadbuster won't be getting a movie-accurate figure?

I'm more interested in wondering why they made him a shellformer.

Whatever the problem is I bet its legal stuff with either the National Guard or Amp energy And since the military loves Bay I think it has to do with the later.

    because he's a movie toy?

I think all 3 probably have both normal car and weaponized altmodes shown in the movie. Perhaps in one form or another we'll see both versions for all 3 characters.

Who says it's not movie accurate? Obviously they go into regular vehicle mode sometime.

And he may still, later on. Perhaps he spends the longest/leaset time in his standard/weaponized form.

Yeah dude I made a post a while back, I personally think that the National Guard does not, or cant market anything to kids promoting violence, either that or the Nascars do have 2 vehicle modes, I mean the Legends version of the Lowes Car is normal, yet the Legends target car is screen accurate.......

The modifications to that car are extremely complicated, and would be nigh impossible to incorporate into a figure at the deluxe price point.

    Wait, what?

You've seen the deluxe version of Topspin, right? And if I'm not mistaken all 3 wreckers are Chevy Impalas with just different color schemes. They pulled it off for Topspin, why not Roadbuster?

And man I was looking forward to having a toy version of his battle-car mode too :(  that machine gun that pops out of his car's grill had me sold at first sight. Seriously that is awesome.

Look at the Gatling gun, and the way the sides are sunken in. The other wreckers do have finicky vehicle modes too, but they seem much more toy friendly.

Looks to me like it's too complex for screen-accuracy, so they chose the normal car. And like someone else said, the Wreckers probably just stay in "Stealth Force" mode for a majority of the movie. No biggie IMO, I'm still getting him when he's released.

though you might be right in the long run it seams silly to complain before seeing the movie or the end of the toy line. We have probably only seen what will be out at line launch

yeah.that machine gun is the main problem ,I think.unless it sticks out in his chest ,I doubt they could make it work with the transformation ,knowing that front of the car forms his chest

its to early to say. remember that all of the toys aren't revealed 4-5 months before the month. he could get another toy that is more accurate. just about every character does.

That's what I'm hoping has happened. The Wreckers will have two toy releases of themselves, one as the normal car, and the other as their "Stealth Force" mode.

Unless the same thing happens with the Wreckers that happened with the Bike Sisters. We could only be getting Topspin, an un-screen accurate Roadbuster and Leadfoot in the form of a Topspin repaint/remold.
