When Megatron was resurrected and attacked Sam; the Autobots came to his rescue. When Prime barged in I don't seem to recall him even being remotely surprised to the fact that his old nemesis was up and about.
Did that seem odd to anyone else?

 

Presumably when he was told that the Allspark shard was stolen, and then the area where Megatron's body was was attacked, he put two and two together.

 

Well Megatron did look different.

 

True. You make a good point. But I would have liked to have seen a response from him. After all those two are arch enemies and all.

But then again,that could be considered character development, and Bayformers isn't too keen on that too much.

 

Something like, "SO! At last we meet for the first time for the last time."

 

Sam's life was in danger. Prime's top priority was to get him out of Megatron's reach. I'm sure he was slightly stunned to see Megatron alive even if he was expecting it, but that probably didn't matter to him as much as Sam's life did. Optimus probably came prepared for the worst.

I'd like to have heard a few lines from Megatron though.

"Optimus... How nice of you to show up... So predictable. The boy led me right to you, and I didn't even have to go out hunting"

 

I'm more concerned by the fact that he wasn't surprised that he came back to life.

Has it happened so many times that even he doesn't care anymore?

Yeah, I think he was expecting Megatron to be resurrected. But some dialogue between them would have been sweet.

 

He thought Megatron was some generic Megatron look-alike. Something along the lines of all those Constructicon clones.

 

I'm pretty sure Prime would have been able to sense Megatron's presence, like Ironhide did with Demolisher at the start.

 

He'll be surprised later, right now he's too mad.

but what i dont get Is that the doctor got the signs from sam mind to locate the energy source..

so why did they need sam when they could of remember the signs and went looking for the energy source instead they choose to try to defeat prime.

was it cause they knew if prime died the fallen would awake...

 

Bay does not have time to stop and show characters reactions to things more time for explosions

 

Maybe he had a moment of DULL SURPRISE offscreen or something. Sides, he probably was too busy regretting leaving Megatron's head intact when he was thrown into the ocean. After all, it seems anymone whose face was destroyed has yet to come back.

Seriously, I'm starting to think Bay's Transformers are zombies or something. Stab them near their spark chamber, they're still walking and screaming. Melt their face, they fall to the ground.

 

Maybe the D-Cons needed a little more time to learn map-reading... then Prime bursts in and spoils the party.

We were told we got the mouth sans plate on prime so he could emote for just that reason and Bay didnt do it.

Michael Bay doesnt have feelings so neither do his movies. I m sure to him it seemed completely ok that Prime was just like hey wassup megatron.

Does it matter? If my own brother was trying to kill me for centuries, and I finally saw him dead, then he comes back to life, and I dont know about it, Im not gonna say anything, Im just gonna shoot and beat the shit out of him!
