I went to Wal-mart, and finally picked up Blurr and Swindle, and BAM! walked out paying about $6 dollars more, this is bull-shit (pardon my english) but come on, raising the price $3 bucks, Blurr is awesome, but Swindle is worth maybe a quarter, whats with the size? are Voyagers more now too?

They're boosting the prices of figures everywhere, it seems. Why? Its probably to cash in on the upcoming movie, though really such a price raise seems unnecesary... It seems to be a bit of a boneheaded move on Hasbro's behalf, especially considering the rest of the country is in financial problems. Of course the kids don't care- because they're not the ones paying for them- but those of us who have to pay for them do >:c

You should come to Sweden. ONE deluxe toy costs $30.

I was gonna mention that. Living in Europe hasn't been a swell thing for tf collectors for a few years back.

You answered your own question there. They're increasing the prices because of the recession, not as a cash grab.

Other than wreckgar, samurai prowl and wasp…I don’t know of any other new animated toys I’d buy. But they are worth dropping the $$
