he threw his swords at grindor in rotf, and didnt have them in his arms any more

 

He was being accurate to the DOTM Leader Optimus figures that Takara have been releasing recently by not having swords in his wrists, so he has to carry them around in his trailer.

 

Yeah, this is what I figured. I couldnt remember the swords coming out of his arms in DOTM. Maybe when they broke into his kill-hooks in ROTF, he never had them replaced, or modified them into something else? When was the last time we saw his armswords onscreen?

 

When in doupt, go for the upgraded version. Same goes with the Decepticon fighters.

Besides, he has to make room for those Brass Knucles.

 

He still had Swords in his arms. They were used in his murder mile

 

He swapped his blades for knuckle dusters

You mean the two characters that had them? Only Sideswipe and Arcee did that. I don't count Demolisher, since he's basically wheels, arms an a head. He's got way more going on than just the wheels.

 

In DotM, the scene where he is about to face-off against Sentinel he pulls out an axe and his right forearm blade. He shoots the sword all the way out and grips it with his hand. They make it clear in RotF that his weapons are detachable save for the knuckles.

 

i thought he held them, but i watched it carefully again and yea u are right  

 

BTW, he only threw one sword at Grindor. I'm guessing he either has a f*ckton of the things or it was replaced and put into his arm by Ratchet.

 

I thought he threw 1 to grindors chest and 1 to grindors leg

 

Only one in his leg. He didn't throw the other one.

 

But you can see grindors chest explode and bits fly off when the sword hits his chest , jst when optimus spins around starscream and flicks the sword

 

He throws a sword in Grindor's leg, then Starscream accidentally friendly fires Grindor in the chest.

 

Ahhh ok cos I rewatched the scene on my iPod jst now and was trying to find the sword go into his chest an I couldn't see it so I thought it must be SS shooting at grindor, but at that point I had already said he threw both swords.

Another thing that confused me was that in the very next scene wen he is realy close to Meggs , prime has the hooks, this made me also think that he threw both sword cos now he is left with his hooks for a weapon

Ahh well it's all toooo fast , but incredibly awesome
