This seems like it could have been easily avoided on your part.
Any particular reason you felt betrayed, or was it just knowing everything in advance of the film?

Perhaps they should start slapping spoiler tags on all movie based books?

I feel betrayed because people don't know hoe to use spoiler tags. (not everyone)

    That's how I got spoiled.

any reason you thought to make a new thread about it instead of responding in the multitude of other threads about the book?

I made a mistake like the OP did in 2008. I was so stoked for Pixar's film Wall-E, that I ruined the experience by getting the making-of book and going through it all early.

I've been on semi-lockdown regarding knowledge of DOTM for some time. It's been rather fun extrapolating from what I saw filmed in Chicago, and what I've seen in some of the trailers.

There's a couple questions I want to keep unanswered until I see the film, such as:

    1) Why do the Decepticons take over Chicago?

    2) Are the Wreckers ever in non-armed, vehicle mode?

    3) Just where did that 'giant drillbot' come from?
