I honestly wouldn't mind if Shockwave doesn't get a leader class toy. His voyager is good enough for me. But Megatron is a must, his new earth mode is begging for one.

I can definitely see Shockwave and Megatron getting their own Leader class figure this time around. I'm kinda hoping Starscream gets his own again for DOTM too but I don't know how they could improve upon the last one other than trying to slim down his undercarriage in alt mode. Such a great mold. Megatron really deserves an awesome Leader class toy - his last two outings were really underwhelming.

Cause no new fan past 10 years old would know the deep characterization of Shockwave post Bay Live Action movie 3?

I'm predicting Megatron will be the only new mold Leader for Dark of the Moon we've not seen, potentially we may see a recolored Starscream or a version sans tattoos in the post DotM series. Leaders tend to get used at least twice, Starscream's one of the few exceptions in recent years.

Because Megatron's leader class toys for the movie have sucked, Brawl and Starscream sold well because they were good but not as well as megs because he's the title villain, even though his leader toys have sucked.

Well we have leader Sentinel. He's the real antagonist of DOTM. Shockwave was on for like 30 seconds and had exactly one line.

If megs does get a leader class release, it better come with a shotgun. (And a better hood and scarf)

Then explain to my why basically all the figures I see are Bumblebees? I have seen more popularity with Sentinel Prime then I have with Bumblebee.

I'm still holding out hope for a Leader-class Megatron and Shockwave in 2012

Also, Jetwing Prime and Striker Prime.

I'll have to agree on Megs being a must. Shockwave would be neat, but as a random leader. Kinda like how Brawl was.

IF they made a leader Shockwave, I pray his head isn't between his shoulders. That's what killed the Voyager for me.

Good guys dominate which stinks for me since I'm a Decepticon fan and even more is that after movie 1, leader class 'Cons sucked (excluding HFTD leader Starscream)

Well, if we're breaking it down by protagonists to antagonists, we're currently at a 2 to 1 ratio, which isn't too far off the Leader class ratio for TFTM07 and exactly the same as the ratio for RotF. It's just different with this line since one of the antagonists is an Autobot traitor and labeling the toy as a Decepticon would spoil the movie.

Anyway, I'd be greatly surprised if Shockwave got a Leader class figure. The Fallen was a far more important character in RotF than Shockwave was in DotM and he didn't get a figure in the Leader size class. Megatron, I could see very likely to get a Leader class figure in currently-unnamed-DotM-followup line, whatever that is.

Maybe because more people know Sockwave than The Fallen?
