Because there is just something about the robots personalities that keep their stories from getting old. Each robot has their merits and their flaws so it keeps things interesting.

I've been a fan since I was really young. The first TF show I watched was Beast Wars!

I wasn't that hardcore of a fan until recently, but I've always been a casual fan, watching the shows once in a while. Back when I was young I loved the idea of toys that transformed without taking them apart. You just twist the pieces and it's a "new" toy! And the fact that there were so many different kinds of vehicles has a cool feature too.

I really don't have a specific reason but somethin about it caught my fancy as a small child and hasn't let go to this day. Plus growin up a poor kid each transformer was like 2 toys in one.

I Grok Transformers. Fandom is just a side hobby with Transfomers.  If Transformers ever go the way of the Gobots & Roboforce, life will be a lot less interesting and fun.

I guess Mechafire pretty much summed up why all of us are TF fans.

I've loved them ever since I was a kid, and it's fun to see the characters and the toys evolve. The toys themselves have taken amazing leaps and bounds in just the last few years, and I'm very excited to see what TFs will be like in five years.

Because robots and aliens (which TFs happen to be both) fascinate me greatly.

Why do I like it? Hmmm... good question. I don't why I'm a TF-fan. I guess it's all because of how amazing it is to see sentinet robots that think and feel like humans, but are not human at all. Obviously we humans can never seem to accomplish something like that in real life. Making robots that act human and alive is something that only the mind can think about.

became a fan when i had a bad illness as a kid. was stuck out of school for a while, saw it on tv, liked it. then got out of it when i hit middle school.

found it years later, realized it made me happy, gave me some stable ground to work on when my life was really hectic (almost like a screenplay for about 8 years there) and ever since, been watching various things from it about once a day- things have gotten better. grades are up, weight is down, teeth are perfect, things just in general have gotten better since i came back to it. it makes me happy and i don't care how old i am. I LOVE IT. no force on heaven or earth will prevent me from enjoying it!

i was a fan as a kid "grew" out of it for a bit, then got swept back into it *glares at mp prime and classics* and because they are fun to fiddle with when i am bored (for the first couple days then the dust settles, sentient robots, transforming, thrill of the hunt etc etc etc

I love things that are cool and different. Back in the day, Transformers was different and it was nothing I had ever seen before. There are also a ton of likable characters and I like cars so that instantly caught my attention.

I've loved 'em since Beast Wars, though I may fear that whatever follows ROTF will just be similar to the Movie, and I'll be all tired out of overly complex designs and transformation schemes. I miss Animated, guys :(
