Well, you're just encouraging them to continue being jerks.

    Lets chill.....

O.K.,this is what this thread is trying to point out,why do conversations become arguements?Everyone has the right to an opinion but everyone is not going to agree or disagree with everyone else but why keep posting overly-defensive comments that only throw gas on a fire thats already there?Again,I've had my share of conflicts but why continue to do so?I'm also not saying that I havent been an a**hole more than once without reason other than I was pissed-off for something stupid. This is a good thread and I hope it doesnt end up getting put in the purgatory of locked-up threads.

    Then, I rephrase my sentence:

I know you're gonna bash, but before you bash, think that you're not alone in this world.

(instead of the end sentence at my first post in this thread.)

    I guess that's better.

If you go back and read some of the posts on pages 1-4, you'll see a lot of people have a similar opinion. I haven't seen such well thought out and respectful discussion on a Transformers message board in a long time. Instead of just saying "Yeah, it sucks!" people took the time to write out some really well thought out responses on what they thought about the subject, and I really enjoyed reading them.

It may not fix anything, but I've really enjoyed reading a lot of the responses here, seeing that there are a lot of other people who feel the same way.

So the mods should have to clean up everything?

Agreed. Great thread so far! Even the people who are disagreeing with each other are being respectful about it, which is what I think the heart of the problem is. I think animosity comes from lack of respect, so I'm glad to see an abundance of it here. :thumbs2:

I don't see what your seeing. I see people disagreeing over issues. I don't see name calling or bashing.

Honestly, I think the Radicons forum is probably the best part about this site in terms of keeping things civil and respectful. And this actually isn't a knock on the mods at all. It has more to do with the posters themselves and their tendencies.

There's a large influx of new users and a large base of old users. When that happens, the old users find themselves annoyed that stuff that has already been discussed pops up, and they get annoyed and let it show in their posts.

We have a lot of kids on here now - too many in my own opinion - and it shows, especially in General Discussion.

Just bear with us, we have some ideas that we're working on to see if it separates old from new.

Seriously bro, lighten up a bit. You have 28 posts and are flaming a site that hands a massive amount of members.
Some people Troll, some people just say how they feel. There people who have a lot of passion for there hobby and should be able to say what they want (within reason) to express how they feel.

I can agree with some of your post but when you start calling people “Jerks” in the TFdom, I can’t stand behind it.
I’m sensing a “disrespectful attitude” coming from your first post so maybe you should lead by example.
Maybe the internet isn’t for you.

You didn't see a movie forum thread, an Animated, A/E/C, BW/BM or an IDW comics one, then.

It probably would help if you didn't get so bent out of shape any time someone's "defeatist and negative" attitude didn't agree with yours. Discuss things with them rather than making a thread to complain about it. Its a discussion forum.

People are jerks, especially on the internet. It sounds callous, but if you can't learn to have fun with them, you came to the wrong medium for discussion.

Take is easy sport. I have seen alot of threads where people disagree. I also noticed people get butt hurt because people don't agree with them as well.

A low post count doesn't always mean someone's new to a board.

But a new reg date usually does. Unless you're an alt-id... You're not an alt-id, are you? =P

I guess I should have added "a new reg date doesn't always mean a person is new to a board." :)

But to clarify, I originally joined TFW back in 2002 and then left for a few years. I honestly don't even remember what my original ID was. Mostly been lurking off and on for the better part of the decade.
