RANDOM ACTION HOUR .:. Transformers: The Dwellers in the Depths

This episode disturbed me the most of the season three episodes when I was a kid in the eighties because of the creatures' designs and how they turned Transformers we know so well into mindless vampire zombies. I think I actually thought that the ones captured were dead for good first time I saw it.

Anyway, big worm, with Dr. Octopus tentacles and razor-sharp saw-blade teeth. Make it happen.

I'm more interested in the zombified vampire Transformers.

Just repaint Kup, Wreck-Gar, Cyclonus and Scourge completely grey with red eyes.

I think it's because the third party companies want to profit.

Yea, and look at the reaction to that in the threads.

I definitely understand that the Metroplex Eye cemented the fact that these people will make ANYTHING, but it seems like a lot of the more mainstream third party companies are more sensible in what the produce.

I'd be into a well made Dweller toy. It would have to BIG with pockets you could squeeze a deluxe sized TF into though.

I, understandably, forgot all about this episode. I'm sure these "Third Party" guys did too.

That last part was uncalled for - 2005 Staff

Do you feel so strongly about plastic toys that you need to equate it to a brutally awful example of human depravity? Was there really a need to go to that extreme?

B-but, I'm a Transformers fan. I have to use EXTREME examples to prove a point. It's the only way I'll make a point via the internet.

Well, when you have tried to be subtle over and over and people miss the point then yeah, why not - it does drive the point across. And just for the record I don't say that he is doing that ofcourse, I'm merely illustrating the faulty logic.

And it's not that it is about toys - it is that I hate blanket statements like that, and how people get aqused of doing things that they haven't because they have one thing in common with someone. If using strong examples like that can make someone think twice before acusing someone then yes - it's worth it.

Thank you for your valueble input, it's insightful comments like these that makes it so much fun to discuss things on this forum.

I think you'll find that hotlinking is frowned upon.

I'm more concerned that he couldn't find a better-quality image of Larry Butz.

Why's there no third party Dweller in the Depths? Probably because there's other things that are more pressing.
