Tell that to people paying $2500 for a grand maximus or a misb Overlord.

Just because YOU don't take it seriously doesn't mean that others don't.

Do you throw a toy in the middle of a store?

I sure hope they don't throw these toys down aisles however.

yeah, I would say that is not taking it seriously enough. In no way does that give you the right to dismiss TF collecting as nothing serious though.

If you saw three Wheeljacks and Cliffjumpers + Seven Bumblebees and you do the math, that means at least three cases were opened and some Bumblebees sold. So he hasn't "lost his touch". And you think the plastic for a deluxe could make two leaders? Do you know how physics work?

He obviously meant the plastic that has gone in to making all those bumblebees.

    Not 1 single deluxe = 2 leaders....

    Also, to correct your math:

they come in a case of 8:

    3 bumblefucks
    2 wheeljacks
    2 cliffjumpers
    1 arcee

if they have 7 bumblefucks then that means that they have opened at least 3 cases. if we deduct any cases that might have sold we are left with the contents of these 3:

    9 bumblefucks
    6 wheeljacks
    6 cliffjumpers
    3 arcee

and what they have left is:
    7 bumblefucks
    3 wheeljacks
    3 cliffjumpers
    0 arcee

which means they have sold at least:
    2 bumblefucks
    3 wheeljacks
    3 cliffjumpers
    3 arcee

Is Bumblefuck selling? Yeah...is he selling according to Hasbros expectations? No - they are selling at what they placed Arcee at, which is slightly less than 2 per case of 8, ie a bit worse than all the other toys - his argument is sound, and it would have made more sense to replace a bumblebee with an Arcee.

Where'd you get Arcee from? Soundwave is the one with them in the case.

Man, and to think we went from Beast Wars to Cybertron without a sinngle Bumblebee...

I think Hasbro needs to limit the max number of bees per case to two.

Took my son to TRU last week to spend some birthday money. We found RID BB, CJ, and WJ. He only wanted CJ and WJ. When I asked why he didn't want BB, he said he already had too many BBs. It didn't even matter that it was the new Prime version. The mere fact that he's getting sick of BB is not a good sign. And that's just one 12yo. Think about how many other kids are feeling the same way.

You're absolutely right, I made a mistake - It's Soundwave. Doesn't affect the math though.

Yeah, I agree it is frustrating how hard it is to find some other figures while the shelves are packed with Bumbleb--

Wait. You were so mad you hurled a toy down the aisle of a toy store? And you're an... adult, yes? Or close to it?

Sorry, finding it a bit harder to muster up any sympathy....

Just wait until we get to wave two where there are still three BB's per case, but almost everything else is shortpacked...

If stores started giving away a free BB with every Tformer purchase, they'd still have a tough time making enough space for wave three to ever hit shelves.

I had the day off work today so I went hunting. I went to 2 targets, 1 walmart and 1 toysrus. Toysrus had NOTHING but bumblebees. 11 of them to be exact. The targets had everything but soundwave and the walmart had nothing out yet.

it's really lame that they still put out so many bumblebees. Kids have enough bumblebees. get over it hasbro. start evening out the case proportions.
