I have not been able to see the FE Cliffjumper so I can judge but while i like the new PRIME cliffjumper toy, why did the designers think it would look cool for him to have 6 wheeles in bot mode? He has the 4 wheels that you see in car mode but once you transform him, the back portion of his upper leg is a half wheel. even tho it is part of the leg and not a real wheel and red just like the rest of the leg, it looks stupid with this half red wheel sticking out of the back of the leg when you can clearly see his 4 real wheels. Anyone else find this to be bad designing?

Extra detail that's easy to ignore.

Bulkhead also has a fake molded in unpainted wheel directly next to his real one. It's hilarious.

This. It's unpainted and covered by his thighs.

I think ill just take the top leg portions from an extra Bee (because they are so easy to get hold of) repaint them and put them in place lol

It's not a flaw. He has them there in the show.

its not coverd... you can still see it as it is part of the leg. but again why add this type of detail if it really has not use as you can clearly see his 4 real wheels?

ok so why not design the toy so his real wheels end up there?

If that's bothersome to some... Then man people are gonna be so pissed off at Prime Leader Bumblebee... He has.... What? 10 wheels? 8? All visible in robot mode.
    Needless to say, it's ridiculous.

Because they'd be too big and would restrict hip articulation.

Only if looking at it from the side. Looking at it straight forward only shows the thigh. And, it's not as bad as Weaponizer Bumblebee who has 8 wheels.

The First Edition has wheels behind his thighs as well. I don't see what the big deal is. Not like they're all that noticeable.

Yeah that one should be the one we're complaing about extra wheels on.

Why can the FE Deluxe BB achieve all this on a smaller scale, yet the largest Prime BB can't even get close?

Weaponizer BB probably has an electronics pack in his chest, so they can't do anything with the front wheels because his arms can't fold up in there.

Dunno why they couldn't manage to fold the rear wheels up into his heels, though. But these figures are supposed to be more simple, for the kids...

FE Bulkhead, FE Cliffjumper and FE Bumblebee all have fake molded wheels. They're kind of annoying.

Well, its more tolerable on Bumblebee and Bulkhead IMO because the fake wheels are molded on the inside of the legs and line up where the wheels sit on the outside of the leg, to give the impression that they folded back. Its not necessarily adding wheels, but more of extending the existing ones.

Both Cliffjumpers are a case of adding wheels.

I actually took it a step further and black and silver sharpied those leg wheels.
