    yes I'm that bored, I chose Manfred von Richthofen (red baron) because he fought in the first world war and was officially credited for 80 air combat victories.

    Orville Wright. You must remember that while he did not have a pilots license, Amelia Earhart did.

    A short while before he died, my dad met him.
    Novosel was wandering around/hanging around at the aviation museum on post here, and everybody thought he was just one of those retirees that volunteered just to get out of the house. the man asked my mom about my dad's Vietnam vet cap, and mom explained it to him- 2 tours and a brother with a MoH- and the man walked off. he went to the gift shop, picked up a book, signed it and gave it to my dad. i still have that book.

    he was a giant in a humble, unimposing way. great man and hero.

    member of the legendary Flying Tigers, Leader of the famed Black sheep Squadron VMF-214 during world II up until he was shot down and captured.
    Credited with 28 confirmed kills. (2 are from his time with the Flying Tigers and are disputed by some)

    Hard to say since aircraft has went from Sopwith Camels to F-22s.
    The skillsets keep changing. Some are trained, some are naturals, and some are purely determined.
