Right now I'm watching EMGO for reviews he's good. I love Vangelus' review for Tracks, had me cracking up. Peaugh's decent. FxFranz is MEH.

    Oh man, I like so many! Let's see, in order of how I found them and subscribed;

Peaugh, TJ Omega, Vangelus, Thew, Emgo 316, Aerros1 and thecollector75.

There's a couple more that I subscribe to, but this is my "must watch" list.

I personally like Peaugh when I want to be able to tell if a figure is good or not, and I go with Vangelus if, well, anything. Vangelus is probably my favorite internet celebrity-esque person ever.

Thew by far. Second is Peaugh because he seems to review the newest stuff before everyone else.

I've gotta throw in another recommendation for Thew. His sense of humour really appeals to me, and seems like a genuinely nice guy.

His recent Afroman parody that was in his HftD Highbrow review got stuck in my head for days afterwards.

Peaugh, by like 700 miles. He's thorough, doesn't waste my time with 2 minutes of intro titles and music, and we seem to have similar expectations out of our robits so I know I can trust his judgement.

He's about the only reviewer I can stomach to watch anymore, actually. SORRY EVERYONE ELSE.

    1. Vangelus - His knack for creativity says it all

    2. fxfranz - Well formulated opinions and shows reverse transformations. Although, he does seem to waste a lot of time doing nothing and almost always references "parents" in a strange way.

    3. Peaugh - Always has the newest figures first. However, he really says nothing and gives no opinions or thoughts on the figure. His videos are more of a "showcase" and "advertisement" rather than a review. I don't think I've ever heard him say that he disliked a figure.

    in order:

Vangelus, TJ Omega, Peaugh, Thew, Emgo and Optibotimus

the first two i use for more than just transformers, and are the reason i am broke a lot, Peaugh is great for a first look of figures, even if i hate him transforming on camera, Thew is just flat out awesome, and the last two also do great reviews, but i perfer the others more

Peaugh is my current favorite by far, simple and straight to the point.

Optibotimus I guess is my 2nd favorite, similar style to Peaugh.

Vangelus has great production values and is very entertaining, the amount of side-text jokes however annoys me sometimes (just being VERY nit picky here).

Thew is awesome but I can't stomach low framerate webcam videos anymore. All he needs is a decent camera.

Emgo is definitely up there too.

OP - this thread is a good idea - reviewing the reviewers! Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

I got back into TF collecting by searching and searching through reviews of MP Skywarp when I found it on clearance last year. Thew is the main person who reviews.

Reviewing is to hold a tf to a standard and explore its merits. Doing a review rather than presenting a toy allows the viewer to interact with the reviewer to debate the merits of a toy. Thew nearly always (exception: 2.0 IH) finds the good in a figure despite clear problems. Pretty clear what he thinks makes a good tf - you can find it out in his review of "worst transformer in his collection."

    YouTube - barutazaru's Channel

Peaugh and Vangelus are also great. Peaugh lets you decide for yourself but I think he could weigh in a lot more on the tf in question and hold it to a standard - he clearly knows his stuff. Vangelus is a great reviewer too in that he does criticize and praise. He and I are on a different wavelength as far as humor goes but I can live with that since it's mostly in the subtitles.

Haven't really looked at other reviewers.
