I've been out of the Alt. loop for about a year now, and am re-starting the collection but on a limited budget. Trying to avoid some bad figures if I can help it, so I'm just curious: Who are your favorite Alts, and why? I've got my eye on that GT40 mold right now...

I would have to say the two-legged Ravage. He just looks wicked.

Second favorite would be Prime, even if he is a little bulky.

Rodimus is sweet, but my fave is the Mustang GT mold - Wheeljack because of the paint job.

Prime is my favorite too, even though most people hate him. I've gotten more interesting poses out of his legs than anyone else's, and his colors and proportions give him a nice heroic look. Plus his vehicle mode has the most play value of any Alt

I've purposely avoided Prime because MP Prime works so well as the leader of the Autobot Alts, but I might have to check one out. I definitely like the Alt. mode.

    Skids.

Only one that I actually have fun Tfing and posing. Smokescreen is clumsy, Jaz has that arm, Mirgae and Rodimus won't stay together, and Nemy's just too kibbly. (Though he is my second favorite.) And they all lack the articulation and proper porportions that Skids has.

I also like Skids, though he is a biatch to transform.

I ony have two others: Shockwave and Hound. I'd put SKids sightly higher mainly because he has an above knee swivel and an above elbow swivel.

I have to say, hands down BT-17 Black Convoy (do BT-'s count?). Followed by Skids then Mirage.

    Jazz(Meister), with Smokescreen and Mirage/Rodimus as runner-ups.

Rodimus, followed closely by "Divebomb" (Ricochet + Reprolabels Alt Divebomb stickers + Sigma Six swords) and Shockblast.

Mirage/Rodimus, Tracks and Meister (despite the arm problem).

Shockblast has the best overall look, IMO. However, I can't get enough of Skids. How they made a Scion look that cool is beyond me and he has a huge amount of playability!

Smokescreen. The 1st toy I buy from each line is nearly always my favorite
