James Roberts, in Transformer's More Than Meets The Eyes Ongoing Comic

    or

Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman of Transformers Prime?

Who's story is more believable and captivating?

Whose take on transformers lore is the most consistent and groundbreaking?

I challenge you all to answer this question with out being bias and if you haven't experience one or either of these two outlets, then let that be known as well.

Since I watch and enjoy both, I'm going with Prime.

Prime is very limited in comparison to MTMTE, since it can't use characters as often, and they have to make sure kids can follow the plot.

So Primes inability to add more appealing characters to it's show for what ever reason is a slight on MTMTE's behave?

I really don't understand that concept....

I on the other hand commend Roberts for not only giving us new characters but also for allowing them to have compelling back stories and dialog.

Before LSOTW I didn't know anything about Overlord. Now thanks to Roberts he's one of my favorite villians on any platform.

So MTMTE having a higher thread count shouldn't be used against them. Should it???

I wish " idk " was a option :3 I watch prime and don't read comics but usually comics can deliver better stories and promising details than a show an i've heard a lot of good about it but due to my limited knowledge of mtmte I technically can't vote and be fair :3

    edit:
Ooops, I thought it was between MTMTE and RID. But answer stays the same anyway :lol

    This statement is incorrect.

Orci and Kurtzman did not write Transformers: Prime. They come up with ideas, but they don't write it.

Certainly not the writing of the person who can't tell the difference between "whose" and "who's".

    I didn't read MTMTE yet so I can't make a comparison.

Though I do think Prime's writing so far is top notch though not on the levels of Beast Wars and Animated yet.

Isn't comparing comic and cartoon writing like comparing apples and oranges?

To think about each episode of prime has a different writer and their job is to fill in the blanks orci and kurtzman leave So the writing style as a whole of prime is consistent. Plot wise i'd think the comic would probably be better but for writing it's probably perspective ( I guess I gtta check out MTMTE )

I was gonna say this, but one could still look at the comic's writing compared to other comics & the show's writing when compared to other shows, and then use that to gauge which one impresses you more within its respective medium.

NOTE: I'd like the record to reflect that it was the disappointment in shows like Prime and Animated that drove me to reading the comic books in the first place. (despite Costa's run)

I read LSotW. It was good. Don't know as though I'd go overboard with praise though. Compared to the crap that Costa was giving us at the time, LSotW seemed massively better. In hindsight, it's still good, but maybe not the super phenomenal masterpiece that so many claim.
Haven't read any TF comics since Costa's #13, so I can't say what his style is like now. However, I do think TFP is written very well despite a few quibbles here and there (Breakdown dying like a punk).

    Sadly I haven't read James Robert's stuff. :(

So I go with Prime, also Kurtzman and Orci wrote for the Michael Bay movies, they produce Prime.
