In the first movie it was said that megatron and optimus ruled as equals. now the story is sentinel was the leader of the autobots and he fled on the ark with whatever he had that suposed to stop the war. Am i reading to much into this or did anyone else catch that? 

 

i think its one of the things you have to accept and roll with.

 

Foundation has it as Sentinel leading in the "unification war" that united cybertron, he wanted to have Optimus realize he was a prime as well and take his rightful place but Optimus denied it, then he had Prime and Megatron take over as equal rulers

 

Transformers make more sense when you just turn off your brain and sit back and enjoy the show!!

like when megatron lead the revolt and thus created the decepticons, but Jetfire was a decepticon for eons.

Not really. The Fallen led the first generation Decepticons such as the Seekers. Megatron and his forces broke off from the Autobots to be the second generation of Decepticons through the Fallen's influence.

The implication in ROTF is that the Fallen had the Prime family Order 66. The Primes being the ruling dynasty of the empire. But there are survivors. According to Foundation this led to a fragmentation of Cybertronian society becoming tribal. Sentinel Prime is like the first emperor of China unifying Cybertron under the Autobot flag.

Another weird thing about the two leaders Sentinel Prime is the commander of the Ark while the Fallen is the commander of the Nemesis.

I take it the tomb of the Primes will stay a tomb. Was there any more story about those primes?  (j/k)

Also, I know there are seekers still among earth, hope to see them shine to light when/if Sentinel leads.
