The muscle of their respective teams, these two hate each others guts and aren't afraid to show it. When these two meet there's more testerone flying round then a Mr Universe contest. I've enjoyed the fights between the two massive behemoths and they've generally seemed to be pretty evenly matched so far. Breakdown took out Bulkhead decisively in Deus Ex Machina but Bulkhead replied by getting the better of his opponent (and Knockout) later in that same episode and again in Speed Metal (albeit this time with some help from Bumblebee) and their most recent fight ended in a stalemate with all involved being blown away in the Artic, and Breakdown being left possibly stranded by his fellow Decepticons. I think it's pretty close but I'm going to give the edge to Breakdown because generally he seems to be outnumbered when facing Bulkhead who usually has a buddy with him, but he still manages to hold his own most of the time. But Bulkhead is strong in his own way, with not an ounce of hesitation, he is willing to throw his body on the line to protect his friends or doing the right thing, perhaps that does make him stronger than Breakdown in a way? Afterall strength is not just measured in phsyical attributes.

BULKHEAD STRONGEST THERE IS! :D  Sorry, couldn't resist!

In physical strength, they're more or less evenly matched. But if Bulkhead learns to use his head a bit more, and he has demonstrated some capacity for thought, he might have the edge. Up till now, Brakedown has been little more than a dumb brute, simply Knock Out's obedient muscle.

Breakdown seems to be the winner in their physical fights. That Deus Ex Machina scene had Breakdown throwing Bulkhead like nothing.

Agreed, Breakdown's entire strategy seems to consist of smash you into little pieces, then smash those pieces into pieces. If Bulkhead learns to adapt he could probably get the jump on Breakdown more often than not.

Bulkhead because he's the good guy and good guys allways win right?

Well to me Breakdown hasn't done much at all. we'll wait and see in Operation Breakdown what he'll do.

I would almost think, based on just the short fight sequences we've had so far, that they are fairly equal in strength.

Maybe you should add another option to your poll...Equal in strength. :)

Would have to say that Bulky's Wrecker training should give him a bit of an edge tho.. so far, Breakdown just seems to do as commanded..smash and run. :lol

I'd say they're about equal. But if I had to pick one, I'd probably go with Bulkhead.

Bulkhead seems to be somewhat physically stronger [or equal, I really don't know], but Breakdown seems to be a much better fighter and much more agile than Bulkhead, so I'll go with the snarky blue giant badass machine: BREAKDOWN!

Breakdown easily handled both Bulkhead and Arcee in Out of His Head, and tossed Bulkhead around like he was nothing in DEM. In fact the only time he's been bested was when he was caught off guard when his buddy bailed on him, leaving him to fight three Autobots.

I'm placing my money on Breakdown. At a simple glance, both appear of equal strength. Bulkhead's an ex-Wrecker, that alone means he's got some serious ball-bearings. Breakdown however has the advantage of being a Decepticon. He's not gonna care about collateral damage, while Bulkhead would want to try and minimalize human injury.

I'm going with equal, based on their last fight in the episode Out Of His Head.

They both smashed their mele weapons together and caused a shockwave.

Considering we don't really know what the Wreckers in Prime do/did, this is premature. I seriously doubt they're the "first day could be your last" type guys. The fact that Bulkhead's still alive and isn't depicted as really that incredibly skilled makes me think they aren't.

Fair point, though his descriptions of Wheeljack's Wrecker battles seem pretty intense.

Actually, from watching the fights, it seems that Bulkhead's got more brute and raw strength. However, Breakdown gains most of the upper hand against Bulkhead because he:

    1. Can fight dirty if need be
    2. Fights more skillfully

It seems like in a direct contest with no skill only strength, bulkhead would come out on the top, slightly. But breakdown will win most fights 1v1 against Bulkhead, because he is just... more skillful.

When it comes top strength, Bulkhead, but, like someone said, Breakdown fights dirty.
