So now that Hasbro has announced that they know we're pissed about not getting some of the FE toys here in the states and are going to try and get them to us, who's going to wait for that release and who's going to keep trying to get them in the FE packaging?? Do you think the original packaging ones will be worth any more just because it's in a different box?? And more importantly, what will this do to the outrageous prices being asked on eBay??

 

Kind of hard to wait for a release that isn't even confirmed.

 

I think that I'll just wait to see what RID Bulkhead looks like and what Leader Optimus looks like.

 

Exactly my point, it's a hell of a gamble...

 

Given hasbros past with this kinda thing it's really a crap shoot will they make it like the later generation waves, make it to Ross like the RTS legends and voyagers, or not make it at all like the final animated toys ????

Some people will risk it and some will pay extra for piece of mind and until demand dies or a official release is confirmed and shipped eBay prices will stay about status quo.

 

Speaking of RTS, did Hasbro ever address what happened to those figures?

 

Which RTS figures? I ended up finding most of them (Grapple, Lugnut, Strafe) at a local TJ Maxx for $10 for each voyager. I don't think I ever saw a Windcharger at retail, I got one off Crave for $13 shipped.

 

This and we don't know when they'll be coming to the US

Just like I'm still waiting for all the unreleased Animated toys that they said they were trying to find another way to release.



..yeah. No. I'm buying what I can, now. Hasbro's not gonna release the FE toys again.

 

He means, has Hasbro explained why the RTS toys didn't make it onto regular store shelves like Walmart.

 

Or he could be talking about the last wave of Scouts that never came out, including Demolition Rumble and the black repaint of ROTF Hubcap.

 

FE was released on retail in our country. Some are shelfwarming like Bumblebee. What I'm waiting for are the RID and Takara versions, the Deluxes and Cyberverse ones.

 

What are your options? Pay a ton now or wait and see if they come out again. Prices are at imit near peak now, might as well wait.

 

The only FE toys that I really want at this point (besides the two I already have, Starscream and Bumblebee) are the Vehicon (I tend to buy troopbuild-type guys in pairs, so this would double their ranks along with the RiD version), and deluxe Megatron. Neither of which are big priorities for me. So yeah, I can wait. If it happens, great, and if not, then whatever.

 

The wall that RTS ran into was that it was a continuation of the second movie line and the third movie's toyline was incoming. Stores didn't want to risk having old product on the shelves (but Generations apparently wasn't an issue) against the new product. I still think Rumble & Frenzy will turn up when Classics kicks up again.

And keep watching Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshalls for those Prime FE toys, they could still hit there.

IMO, wait for re-stocks. Current prices on Ebay are exorbitant.

 

I plan on mostly buying Cyberverse. Outside of that, the one figure I want the most is Deluxe Arcee and I think her RID version looks better.

Also getting Ratchet, but that goes without saying.

 

I got all the FE toys that I want, so probably not. The only thing that I **MIGHT** want is the Vehicon, but since we're getting a better Vehicon in the main line I don't feel the need to own a FE Vehicon.

 

Considering how much the FE figures are going for,I don't have much of a choice other than to wait and hope that Hasbro pulls a rabbit out of their ass and actually gets us more FE figures.I'm not willing to pay those inflated prices.

 

I never cared whether I got the FE figures or the RiD figures, so I'm not going to wait for any hypothetical future release of the FE molds.
