i should have the money for one or the other, would love black zarak but just the thought of gold plastic crumbling on me makes me want to cry but then again i have fort max. so which way should i go?

GPS would make me lean towards Brave Max. Otherwise, Zarak cause he's a much more distinct repaint.

 

I'd get Grand Maximus, because I already have a BZ (the one in the resource threads is mine - yes, i transformed it). However, if you want something you can handle and "play" with get Grand Maximus. The only time I handle my Black Zarak is when I'm dusting the shelf he's on. That figure is too rare and fragile to mess with.

I'd opt for GM - as much as I'd love to own a Black Zarak, it's one of the few TFs I'd actually be afraid to own, knowing I've spent that much money on something that will succumb to GPS.

 

dont really play with them, i transform them once and go on display, i just dont want to spend that amount of cash then break its parts. however i have seen some one doing repro parts for zarak and can buy a knockoff headmaster now so i dont really need to touch the parts.

 

black zarak, but he has GPS, it sucks unless they reissue him with better plastic...

I vote Grand Max, but only because my nerves would be shredded simply by knowing I spent all that money on Crumbly Joe.

 

GPS be damned, if money was't an issue I'd get a BZ MISB. Grad Max is pretty cool but IMO if you have one verson of the mold it's pointless to get another.

Grand Max. As much as I'd love a Black Zarak I could never justify throwing down that much money on something that could crumble if I so much as sneezed in the same room.
Now if they reissued Black Zarak, on the other hand... GIMME.

 

Pass on both. I have G1 Fort and Scorponok so to me they are an overpriced repaint.

Easily Grand Maximus, because 1. the GPS issue compared to cost, and 2. I think Black Zarak is the more likely of the two to get reissued some day. I'm not saying it's probable to ever happen, but if it did I'd think Black Zarak would happen first and as long as the GPS issue is corrected, that's a much better option than throwing down for the original.

 

grand max, black zarak is an amazing retool, but gps makes him not worth the pricetag

 

both   . If I were in your shoes I would go with the black zarak b/c he is harder to find IMHO.

 

I know black zarak falls apart and all but what is the term GPS you guys are using stand for? I have a feeling its going to be something ridiculasly funny.
