I would love to see an extended edition. Sorry, my memory is playing up so I can't remember why. I just remember coming up with a list of things that could have been covered in the film but understood was omitted.

What would you want to see?

 

Maybe another minute or two on the ending, with the full speech from Prime (as was in the novel so I've been told).

Also a scene showing how Prime got his trailer back after the initial driller attack.

 

Alternate ending akin to the novel, and the death of the Twins.

Totally. It feels like half the scenes of the bots were cut, and the movie would improve dramatically if those were in it. Different ending would be good too.

EDIT: A longer fight between Bumblebee and Soundwave would be nice too.

 

The Home release really needs 2-3 minutes more at the end, with Prime rebuilt or something, that's all.

Count me in for an alternate, comic/novel-based ending.

I'd ask for extra scenes where Shockwave does/says more, but I don't know how much they'd help.

 

I want to know why Optimus wasn't around during the freeway chase with the Dreads and the eventual betrayal scene. It seems like something was cut out (eve if it was nothing more than some dialogue).

There are definitely some awkward transitions between scenes in this movie. And like I said, it feels like bits and pieces were removed.

I don't expect newly rendered CGI for a DVD/BR release, either.

 

They never did CGI for Twins, I don't think. I know they filmed them in vehicle form, so it would be hard to include them. There is no way they will render models from scratch for the DVD/BR release.

On another note, I'd just like some of the scenes that were cut for length's sake including. Either in the film, or as an extended section of the disc's extra features section.

 

I'd want some sort of a mention of Ironhide and Prime's speech that he usually does at the end.

 

Longer end scene, bit more fighting between Prime and Megatron, Barricade w/ more lines, more Shockwave screentime, More lines for Scotty- I mean Roadbuster, just for laughs. Ironhide mentioned at least once after his death.
