Looking at the recent galleries of Movie Megatron, I am impressed. There is one thing I want more of though:

More consistent mettalic paint apps. Specifically the blue and silver we see on few parts of the toy.

Right now they look spotty. However if it was sprayed on more parts of the body, specifically the torso(chest/abs area) and a little more areas, it would look great. I am one that thinks the entire toy would look better and movie accurate had the whole thing been painted in the silver finish that Cybertron Galvatron had, rather than bare grey with hints of mettalic silver/blue.

As it stands, its just not cohesive at this point. And thats the only thing holding me back from buying it right now. Even drybrushed silver atop the face would look GREAT. It would bring out more detail(and if you look closely, the face is incredibly detailed).

Hasbro could change the paint apps after the first shipments, and later shipments could have a more cohesive deco using more of the same mettalic silver/blue currently used.

They have made alterations early in production runs before. For example, Energon Prime changing from a mouth, to no mouth. That happened not too long after he was initially released. With the paint apps, there is no mold difference, merely a difference in application, so it is cheaper than a mold being retooled to accomodate a difference.

So who wants a more cohesive/consistent mettalic paint application? I do!

while I think he would like very cool if he was more metallic, that's actually one thing that I'm not overly concerned with. My main worries are the weird pink flames (at least the blue parts blend in with the silver, the pink just sticks out) and how much range of movement he has

I would like to see (an exclusive, perhaps) a leader Megatron in a greyish, metallic-flaked chrome... to really have that shiny metal look that he--and Jazz, for that matter--are missing.

Metallic paint a 'la Cybertron Galvatron would indeed look great...but I'm sold on Leader Megs as is anyway.

Agreed, I like the general release the way it is, but wouldn't mind seeing an upscale exclusive of sorts.

If he was chromed or consistently metallic, and the pink parts were a different color, then yes I would consider buying him.

i won't, not as it is and i won't buy it either if he had those changes. right now there are several other figures in that price range that are way more appealing to me.

    QFT.

If you don't like the fairy wings, they're an optional step. (unless you want to here the sounds)

Honestly, you don't even notice them anyway, he's way too much freaking fun to notice!:lol

    In your opinion.

The lack of paint on the chest is my biggest problem. If they fixed just that one thing, I think the robot mode would look soooo much better. I'm hoping for a "metallic finish" exclusive, kinda like the spiderman and venom movie toys got for their wal-mart release. Would be an expensive exclusive, but it would mean a lower production run, so less risk on Hasbro's part.

Just ignore the chest automorph feature, it's not like it drasticaly changes the chest look and it keeps the pink hidden.
