Ok in lieu of the UM VS Megatron thread (Megatron was clearly the winner.) Here's the Grimlock VS Megatron thread.

On the back of the box to Animated Voyager Grimlock it says he's just as powerful as Megatron. So who wins in a fight and why?

i think they would end up finishing eachother off after a very long fight. they are both so brutal that it would be interesting to see what would happen

Grimlock is as strong, but he's dumber than a bag of bricks and can't fight for shit compared to the ultra-armed badass leader of ALL DECEPTICONS!

Seriously, everybody knows strenght isn't everything in a fight, there's also skill, agility and other things.

 

Megatron, mainly cos he isnt all brute force.

 

Well...Ultra Magnus scared Grimmy in his arrival episode and Screamer beat the crap out of UM in a later episode so I'd say Megs would win.

Shame too, I'm a huge Grim fan!

 

As big of a Grimlock fan as I am, I would have to say Megs would win. Yeah, they are equal in strength, but Megs has some actual training, while Grimlock has none. That's why I think the Autobots should bring the Dinobots to Cybertron and train them up a bit. That way they can be helpful when fighting the Decepticons, and can live up to their bios/abilities.

 

Grimlock beats Megatron by a Sword fight.

That was in fact a deleted scene from Megatron Rising. Reason it got cut was poor animation quality and time I think.

i thought it was because of the fact that they didnt want to break the toy bios by having Megs wipe out the Dinobots with ease.

i personally think it would depend. thursday Grimlock wins, but then tuesday Megatron wipes the floor with him, because on thursday it was raining, and on tuesday it was snowing.

 

Megatron. He can fly, has a fusion cannon, several million years of combat experience, has returned from the dead, knows all or very much about Grimlock (he did convince Sumdac to build flamethrowers into the dinobots), could manipulate Grimlock (remember, fossilfeeders are baaaaaad), and is ruthless enough to do anything for victory.

We dont need more of these threads concerning who would win ***vs Megatron only bot to date that would win a one on one fight with Megatron is Omega Supreme.

 

Like Partical Beam said, Megatron can fly. While Grimlock is on the ground saying me can do whatever, Megatron will be shooting him with his cannon. Grimlock won't be able to touch him the whole time.

 

Optimus Prime and the Autobots beat him at the end of season two.
