I was just courious to see who everybody's favorite combiner is/was. Now this is SANS fanproject add ons. It can be any combiner from any series.
For me I have to say one of my favorite combiners is RID Prime and Magnus forming Omega Prime. The reason I like this is for one its prob one of the coolest combiners outthere and when you actually combine them to make omega prime you dont have to treat him with kid gloves its a very solid figure.

I can't choose just one, so:

    * Omega Prime for sheer impressive size, and one of the rare occasions where partsforming results in a better toy (compare with ROTF Prime+Jetfire).
    * Rail Racer, for requiring absolutely no extra combiner parts but having opening hands, decent articulation.
    * G1 Bruticus - I'm a self-confessed collector of this mould, owning G1, CR Baldigus, RiD Ruination, urban Ruination, Universe Desert Ruination. G2 Bruticus and Battle Gaia are the two I still need.

RiD Rail Racer...nothing before or since has come remotely close to being that self-contained, stable, poseable and streamlined IMO

Bruticus. "Starscream's brigade" and "the revenge of bruticus" are my favorite episodes of G1.

Toy form does not dissapoint probably because onslaught is so awesome. RID only took it to the next level with the awesome Ruination.

Defensor was my favorite one as a kid. I always liked emergency vehicles.

These days I'd say either Super Ginrai/Godbomber or Star Saber/Victory Leo.

I'm a fan of Computron as he was one of the only full combiners I had as a kid. It also doesn't hurt that his colors were decent and overally he came together better then some of the other combiners.

Rail Racer, no question. Next in line would be RID Omega Prime.

Past continuity wise it's Predaking. Have to agree with slugslinger2004 about Rail Racer and Omega Prime. For most current it has to be PCC Grimstone/Dinobots.

Rail Racer is the best looking in general. Abominus is my favorite G1

    Devastator.

Even without the CrazyDevy parts, the figure is still great fun in all 3 modes. With the CrazyDevy parts, he is soooooo much better and definitely my favorite (although that will hopefully be surpassed by the upcoming Not-Devy).

I had the Seacons as a kid and I love them. I was happy when I got my hands on the reissue ones last year from BBTS.

    I like Bruticus.
Rail Racer is also one of the coolest things ever, and I have a certain fondness for Energon Optimus Prime.
