The dude who orgasms from playing with BB or the freaky Asian dude who can't keep his pants on?
well compared to what they have shown in the past and what they are capable of doing I'd say Malkovich, I mean in the sense that is normally drama (though he has done comedy) and an academy award nominee several times over
Hard to say....
Gonna go with Jeong, if only because his character was that much more over the top, and that "over the topness" was much less essential to his role in the film.
Its a tough call though.
Aside from Charlotte Mearing, Dylan Gould and Dutch, all the other new characters were utterly pointless. Well, Jeong was maybe 5% useful. Malkovich was a waste.
Malkovich was doing what he did best in "Of Mice and Men": be like Lenny the mentally-ill bull worker, which was one of his best performances IMO.
Jeong was just emulating Leslie Chow. Everyone knows "The Hangover" right?
Easily Jeong, if I could edit the movie. I would chop the HELL out of most of his scenes, and he wasn't even in it that long. Malkovich was tolerable.
Jeong. I honestly feel as though his character was just another excuse to squeeze in a dick joke.
Jeong. I liked Malkovich in DotM pretty much in every scene, even the one where he wants to fight BB. Jeong was so unnecessary in most of the scenes he was in. Although at least they killed him off in such a funny way that it makes up for the rest of his scenes.
I couldn't help but laugh during the Sam and Wang scenes. Jeong was pretty funny, but Malkovich on the other hand got pretty annoying fast.
Jeong, no contest. Malkovich was easier to take cos when he met Bumblebee, he was just like a kid on Christmas and I can relate to wanting to that.
Ken Jeong was a total waste of time, money and script space as he was done.
Jeong. Malkovich was awesome....Jeong was not.
I had a genuine laugh from both of them.
Probably cut Jeong though if I had to.
Malkovich is the master even when playing camp characters.
Jeong. I just felt his character really served no purpose and the story still would had been fine without him. Malkovich was alright till he met Bumblebee, that scene was very unnecessary.
I agree completely, the one plot bit he had could've come from someone else, maybe even an autobot.
I could've done without either of them. I can't really decide between which was actually worse because both were just so painful to watch. Why do so many of the human characters in BayFormers have to be such cartoons? (and no, 'because G1 had a cartoon so it's okay when BayFormers is cartoony too' is no excuse)
I love both of these actors in their own movies. But in Transformers Dark of the moon.....They sucked.
I don't know how but Bay can turn my favourite actors againist me.
Jeong. I enjoyed both of them, but Jeong screamed "trying too hard". I would've played his manic behaviour for drama and not for cheap yucks, and axed any sexual innuendo, in particular the bathroom scene. I either would've cut Malkovich entirely, as he was kinda superfluous, or combined his character with Dylan. That would've been interesting.
I'm going to say Jeong because it just felt like he was rehashing the same character he's played over and over again instead of attempting to bring something different. I've enjoyed him in things like The Hangover and Mary Shelly's Frankenhole, but in Dark of the Moon he felt like been there done that.
