I think this is a very clever way Mr. Lee is giving some lucky fans a chance to make their dreams come true. I've worked in comics as a writer for a few years and it's damn hard to create a character people will give a second glance to.

All these guys have to do is be creative. If they win, they get a movie made of their character. That's just the begining. If the movie does well (since it'll be baised off of their character) it could lead to further deals like comics and toys a TV series and so on. If nothing else, the winner would be able to walk into any small press company and get work.

Hell, if I was living in CA. right now, I'd be signing up.

As to who I would be, I happen to have a very imaginative character that I could pull out of my File cabnet. His name, HIRO the TOYMASTER! (you think I'm kidding?) His power, the ability to bring to life any toy he can make. (I really do have a 12 issue mini series written on the guy.)
