Whilst moving some figures around the cabinets i was playing about with the WFC figures and remembering how much i love them.

I'd love to see more figures getting released with cybertronian alt and robot modes, what do you think?

Continuation of the WFC figures or a brand new line with alt and robot modes we've never seen before?

As long as they aren't throw-backs to the A/E/C saga, then I'm always game for Cybertronian modes. Honestly, I really like them.

Neither, Im not a fan. My WFC figs havent seen a shelf since I got them. I find the cybertronian modes a bit goofy for my taste. I like my Transformers to be somewhat realistic vehicles for the most part.

late G1 is my source for cybertronian modes. I've really started to get into that aesthetic lately.

As long as the Cybertronian altmodes in question aren't little more than folded-up robots or "it's a (insert vehicle name here) because we say so" stuff, I'm cool with it. I'm looking at you, 2007 Movie Leader Megatron, ROTF Leader Megatron, Deluxe Soundwave and DOTM Shockwave.

The WFC altmodes (Bumblebee, Optimus and Soundwave, for example) and several G1 altmodes (Hardhead and Brainstorm, for instance) are shining indications of how to do things right.

I prefer alt modes based on real vehicles -- the more unusual, bizarre, or uncommon the better -- though I wouldn't mind some more WfC toys. Those Cybertronian modes seem to have just as much thought put into them as their bot modes.

I love Cybertronian modes. I'd love to have Cybertronian versions of all the original 18 Autobots, a la War Within/War for Cybertron, but I know that's not likely to happen.

That being said, I didn't like the WfC Bumblebee/Cliffjumper mold. They were just too big (i.e., bigger than Optimus).

New Cybertronian designs would be cool, but more WFC stuff would be great too. I love the TRON-esque feel of the WFC designs.

I like the WfC designs, but I'd rather have more new characters than yet another Starscream and Ironhide/Ratchet.

Barricade, Brawl, Arcee and/or Slipstream would be particularly welcome.

I would like to see a retool for WfC Megatron and Soundwave, though.

I'd really like to see a full on wfc cyberverse line for the next game. That would blow my mind. More deluxes are always good as well.

Also love the scifi designs of the s3 g1 cast. Wish they had used those vehicle modes on the classics figures(though I know a lot of you don't and you'll jump down my throat for wanting them) along with show accurate robot modes (not toy accurate).

War For Cybertron. It Pulls no punches. Some of them. Like Optimus Prime wield the most complex challenge the deluxe pricepoint can offer without being frustrating.

I liked how war for Cybertron embraced what I loved about Transformers Generation One's nostalgia and polished it off. Let those faction shields glow.

"Cybertronian" modes don't do anything for me. I'd rather see some vehicles.

sign me up all over this thread. I'd love to see some more cybertronian modes of any kind of TF. That doesnt mean a whole line dedicated to them but I'll take any I can get.

    This.

While I admit that some of the WFC figures looked OK/Good I'm definitely not a fan of "cybertronian" alt modes.

Basically the reason I replaced RotF Megs and decided not to keep DotM Shockwave.

Edit: And what's up with not having a "neither" option in the poll, lol?

As long as they're not obviously just a pile of collapsed robot parts..... Yes.

We all know who the offenders are here.
