So, who hopes there would be something like that even though Hasbro would never really make one in real life! :)

Honestly I would love a supreme class Driller (give it a better name on the box though). Make it interact with Voyager Shockwave (or maybe make it part of Cyberverse for as near a scale as possible and Shockwave cockpit), and give it loads of joints. It would need a very articulated mouth as well. It would also need a way to be proped up cobra-esque to loom over small figures.

I would buy it, even for a bunch of dollars I would.

You just gave me the idea of either instead of having a Cyberverse+ Shockwave with a Tank, we should have a 2nd Cyberverse Playset based on the Driller that also comes with Cyberverse+ Shockwave!

What exactly would Driller turn in to?
If it doesn't transform, it's not a Transformer.

Come up with a good alt-mode and I'm sold. (Wasn't there a concept image of something like Driller as a submarine?)

It'd just be a tentacles thing. Not very fun, is it? Kids wouldn't want it. It's like the Parallax figure warming shelves from "Green Lantern". Hey Timmy, do you want Megatron or this big glob of diarrhea with arms?

I don't know how they'd make it work. Does it even transform? Just seems like a clusterfuck waiting to happen.

It would be a toy of a big tube thing, though. Not a creature, vehicle or character of any kind. It's just a....thing. I just don't see it happening.

I knew the Driller was based on an underwater 'Con but that concept art looks fantastic!

    Hasbro! Make it happen!

Oh Primus no, The size of the moulds would be horrendous and it would shelf warm like no shelfwarmer before.

Hasbro could probably make 4 deluxes (or 5) for the same costs as that.

The only way I could see it being made is if the drill head with some little tentacles were made and attached to a big sock making it all a great big puppet

That would be quite a shelfwarmer.

I would buy it if it had good features and came with Shockwave (that can sit in the cockpit) and Optimus (with jetpack)..

And just for shits and giggles include a parachute so you can blind Shockwave. Oh, and a building for the Driller to drill through.

I could see another Cyberverse playset that turns into a submarine or something, but a leader class or bigger, no way. That would just be stupid and a waste of Hasbros resources when they could be designing better things.

To be honest, no. I would rather Hasbro use their supreme class toy slot for something else.

They'd loose a lot of money on it, and the losses from it would be offset against future molds.

    So no.

I agree with how the OP said it wouldn't happen.

It would be just a big plastic tube thing with a mouth looking opening. Drill had lots of small bits, some stuff that could be covered with some molded detail, but to make it look less like a tube, they'd have to have some extensions. Most of those were rather sharp so it'd be covered in rubbery plastic.

I could see them releasing a little 'diorama' like thing for cyberverse... Maybe something that is on a base and pops up? It'd be cool to do that w/ voyager Shockwave, but it wouldn't sell well at all (unless it was a freebie).

I think the best bet is, we'll get some shockwave figure, in whatever class that comes with a fold out cardboard display of the driller....
