As long as it's a more 'mature' & character-driven story line like BW, I'm all for it.

    I dont.

it'd be stupid to spend the money making a show based on a dead line.

No. Bad idea. Classics is dead. Gone. Expired. It is an ex-line.

using the designs = promotion of a dead line. why advertise something the kids can't buy?

    love you too, buttercup.

Is Ironhide2005 going for the TFW record for starting quickly-locked threads? ;)

    Wouldn't a Classics cartoon just be a G1 rehash?

    Besides, the line is done.

A Classics comic, I could see. Although, there probably wouldn't be much of a point putting out a Classics comic when IDW does already have a G1 book.

They already made a cartoon loosely based off the Classics design and they did it 23 years ago. Plus yeah like others have said the line is dead and ready to be buried (unfortunately) so they'd never make a cartoon with no toys to support it.

not technically since prime and magnus have diffrent rounder truck cabins and magnus is only a semi without the trailor it would diffrent. plus u have grimmys bumbles and cliff new bodies. the could do a bit of g1 and then write these guys in being reformatted. dont kill me for suggesting it

There already is a Classics comic, it's with the TFCC newsletter. And IMO that's good enough as it gives the fandom what it wants...so to speak

IF the line was a full-fledged line with a future lying ahead of itself, sure.....it could be the G3 I asked about last night.....as it is now....well, no new product to go with it, why bother?

Bye bye Ironhide2005, I don't know what you said, but...

    ON TOPIC:

I am with the whole, dead line = no $$$, but mabye if it were a mini-series (think SWCW) made just for fans of G1 and Classics, I would definatly love it.

QFT. One of the better ideas out there.

    Too bad Classics is done.
