Do the old "big heads" look funny next to the smaller heads?

    a poll!

The more recent Alternators' heads are about 25% smaller than the first several and reflects a conscious change in the aesthetic design of the line.

see here (not the best demonstrative pic)

Decepticharge, Overdrive, Swindle, Prowl, Skids, Prime, and Mirage all have this.

While I like the proportions better, I think it makes "old timers" like Streak, Sideswipe, Tracks, and Dead End now look a bit funny when displayed alongside the newer batch. No biggie to me, but definitely noticable.

    so what do you think?

btw, I do like the fact that the designers are FINALLY

getting away from the "perfect square" faces and the huge jutting chins.

Mirage and Skids have G1-type faces that are more humanesque. Definitely a fresh breath into the line.

I don't like the smaller heads. Makes them look pinheaded.

I like where the heads are going. Sideswipe and Hound have some pretty big 'noggins.

Alt Ravage's head is about as big as Cybertron Runamucks. I did a head swap (after some engineering), and in some ways Runamucks head looks okay, but in others it is of course too small. I guess with a beast head you can get away with more.

the new alts not only have smaller heads, but they have smaller robot modes as well, especially Prowl, all the rest is towering over him
it's funnier to see those puny alts than the ones with bigger heads IMO :p

Big Heads???? All mine are BTs and they all look normal to me. Show a side by side comparison.

Side Swipe has a ridiculously large head. Especially when compared to Windcharger/Overdrive.

I think they all look fine to me. Prowl's and Skids' heads almost look too small.

I think the size of the noggin is largely controlled by where the head has to stuff in Alt mode.

    Big heads for the win!

The larger headsculpts are much better homages IMO... these new ones don't cut it if you ask me.
