I was just thinking about it the other day and who actually owns the G1 Unicron(s). I know that at BotCon 2009 they had two of them on display. Does anybody know the answer?

If you mean the protos I think Hasbro has 2 and Takara 1.

You sure it's him? I heard that some guy named U. N. Owen had a G1 proto Unicron.

He's a real recluse, though, I think he lives on some private island or something. Nobody knows alot about him, though.

I'd be more interested in knowing who owns the VSA set.

Many years ago I was told that the person who owns it is under obligation of never revealing his ownership of the giftset to the fandom for as long as he lives or somesuch.

Of course I have no idea how reliable that claim was.

    My reactions:

Another thread on this? The search is your friend.

Which prototype. As we were shown in the last thread about this, there are 3. 2 similar colored ones and 1 takara green.

Last price it went for , from what I read in one of these threads, was 10k. That was bought by a Bill Bob or some name with a B.

You'll never get a hold of the guy who owns it because, well, he doesn't want you to.

Is that the beach ball lookalike one? If so:

    a. He can keep it.
    b. If he paid $10k for it, someone saw him coming.

You are wrong. As far as anyone knows Hasbro has none and takara still has theirs.
