yeah, animated and prime are my favorite, but why did animated get canceled 1 season before the finale? wasn't season 4 meant to be the end?

yeah, they gave some good stuff, just if you take a black car, and let americans draw it, its 90% black, if you let japs draw it, its 20% black, with 80% white shine on it... it takes the piss sometimes,

We were never really told why, but we have reason to believe it was due to business politics between Hasbro and Cartoon Network.

I vote america too when it comes to cartoons. G1, beast wars, Animated and Prime are easily the best cartoons. If you apply this to comics Simon Furman is English and his run on UK and US G1's was probably the best of the marvel transformer comics and Nick Roche is Irish. Michael Bay is (obviously) American so not all that is American is great.

theres too much flash, its basically like the brought a 1990's comic book to a cartoon, theres too much flash, and shiny characters...

You realize they've essentially been a joint effort since the very beginnings of Transformers, right?

Shhhh, its funnier to let people argue. :lol

Also, I was gonna go with the Quints, but the more I think about it, the more redundant that answer gets.

Uhuh. Polygon is based wholly in Japan. So were Toei and AKOM. I think Hasbro and Takara are two of the closest-knit companies in the field of international cooperation. You can't say a show is either an American style, or a Japanese one, because they're so intertwined.

As for the people who say "it's in an American style," pretty much everything but Beast Wars and Machines was animated in Japan.
