The idea just came to me.

We see them both have similar attacks in the trailer, but who do you suspect will be the more difficult one to defeat?

I said Omega because his ray thing seemed more devastating.

I think Omega is going to be more interesting, but I doubt either will be difficult.

Just a guess, Omega Supreme. Partly because of his name. :p

I don't think they'll be hard, I just meant which one will take more effort to beat.

It'll take a lot of effort for me to stop admiring their sheer epicness, and finally get to defeating them. :lol

    Same here :lol

Omega seems... slower, to Trypticon, so he might be easier, unless he has more beams or whatever.

Tryption has about three, but they concentrate into the one spot, they might be as strong as Omega's single put together, maybe not. But Trypticon seems a whole lot more agile.

    Trypticon, hands down!

The trailer they released last month would have you believe Trypticon moves like a beast, agile, whereas Omega Supreme moves very sluggish, geriatric-like.

I wouldn't be surprised if Trypticon is the faster of the two but less powerful, and Omega Supreme is more powerful one but slower. Switching things up a bit would keep gamers from using the same old tactics in order to beat the game—I like it!

I'd put my money on Trypticon.

But you know who the hard bosses will be? The player sized ones who don't have the giant-glaring weak point.

Not such a thing as hard bosses nowadays.

That stuff ended in the Gamecube era.

Really? I guess that depends on how you define hard.

RotF Devastator is pretty damn hard to beat, one of the hardest boss battles in the game. His "weaknesses" are placed on his joints, which move while he moves around the city, and if that wasn't hard enough, weapons with their own targeting systems protect his moving joints. Sure, you can get better, faster, at beating the guy, but he's still hard to take down.

Tag-teaming adversaries were pretty tough too in that game—nothing like trying to focus on one while they both focus on you. Battling Starscream and Megatron at the same time was a pretty tough battle too, but not as hard as Devastator (imho) anyway.

I found him easy and beat him on the first try. I do agree about the tag teaming bosses, especially if you didn't max out your powers.

I can just see Omega shooting you down, and while you're down draining your health with that huge laser.

Did you get a platinum metal on your first attempt too? If not, I'd say he wasn't that easy. I got a bronze metal my first time through; he was very time consuming to take down, which isn’t something I minded—I love it when I get my money's worth.

I just hope it won't be the same old, boring, recurrent type of giant bosses where they have the same formulas: "Avoid a certain attack and shoot them while they miss you" ie dodge a blast from trypticons mouth and any shots landed on him during this time damage him or "shoot him in a certain spot so he falls then melee him and retreat before he rises with a defensive move" ie shoot Omega Supreme in the knees until he falls then kick him in the face and retreat before he can slam his fists into the ground causing a shockwave while he pushes himself up.

Gets old after a while. I'd rather see "open" bosses, not saying they should be easy to defeat but the way to do so shouldn't be as painfully obvious as a section of their body flashing in red.

Just make them unique, make them challenging, make them remember-able.

    Also make them truly huge.

Platinum I got I think on my 2nd or 3rd attempt, can't remember. I got bronze on my first try. Only reason it took so long was because I was trying to heal from all the drones attacking me as I was Bee. I still thought it was easy. I just had to be patient.

Devastator was a lot harder the first time because you were limited to one character: Bumblebee. It's extremely easy to get a Platinum with Powered Up Optimus.

That's who I used on my next attempts. And his powers were maxed out at that point. I think I'm going to go back and play this game over my 3 day weekend from work. Such a fun game.
