Can be based on any criteria...

Mine has to be Piranacon... Something about his stout/wide nature appeals to me. I have even grown to love his wacky color scheme over the years. The fact that I had quite a hard time finding him complete and in good condition also adds to his charm.

Predaking wins for being the most badass.

I love all of them though. Except Monstructor. Too tiny. I like him in IDWs comic though.

I kinda grew out of my devastator faze when I was a kid. These days, I'd have to say that I prefer the Orange G2 Devs to the regular G1.

Monstructor isn't the best-built toy but he's my favorite combiner.

They are cool little monsters with a ton of personality, all the seperate members were the same size, and all the combiner parts can stash on the backs of the shells along with the guns. They didn't get much time in the comics but I always thought Monstructor's shells could function on a basic drone autopilot as Dinoking's did in Victory.

    No contest: Devastator

6 completely unique designs, a uniform and instantly recognizable color scheme, huge alt modes, a sub-group with an actual purpose beyond -just- combining, and the best combiner name. Perfection.

I'll give honorable mention to the Predacons since I liked their basic concept, uniform color scheme, and a pretty kick ass looking combined mode, and to the Combaticons because of their team name and the general idea behind what they represented: military machines. But where they lose is because the Predacons are ridiculously small and Predaking is just a retarded name, and because the Combaticons include, of all things, a space shuttle that can apparently zoom around like a jet. If Blast Off was a proper jet, if Swindle was a huge Hummer instead of a tiny jeep, and if they all had a distinct color scheme similar, they would be a VERY close runner with the Constructicons.

Cool, didn't know Dinoking's shells worked like that...
Since I never got into the comics, what makes me appreciate Monstructor is his rareness as a toy. Without a doubt, the hardest and most expensive "American" G1 combiner to purchase out there.

So, for Bruticus, I guess you appreciate the unified camouflage of a Ruination better than the G1 scheme?

The Predacons are bigger than pretty much every combiner component out there.....they are all "deluxe" size g1 figures.........
