It doesn't look like the colors negatively impact either figure.

 

Fedorp4pbest did make the poll asking us if we're upset about the colors for Shadow Scythe.

So I guess it's time for FansProject to have a heel turn and be branded as cheats and liars, at least where Fedor is concerned.

Which seems to be a nitpicky opinion all things considered. There's fans here who would LOVE to be so lucky as to own Shadow Scyther AND SG Rodimus.

And to be so picky about it is a bit much.....it would be like a rich person complaining that they really don't like Benjamin Franklin's portrait or the shade of green on all of their $100 bills.

It's hard to agree with this point of view.

 

To be fair to the OP, we were all going off of the rendered promo image. The fact that it didn't turn out like that is not surprising, and it's a risk we all took by pre-ordering without that knowledge.

However, I don't understand the "[Fansproject getting away with it]" part. Crazydevy products can fuck up your toy. Fansproject error, if any, is standard procedure for Hasbro.

 

I think it looks cool with either of the figures . Whenever you buy figures without seeing the final product, its a leap of faith...

 

That's the thing, though. Fansproject are put on such a high pedestal because "they understand what fans really want", compared to money-grubbing, cold, corporate Hasbro, who supposedly shits on the fans whenever they can.

So now we have Fedor trying to rally other fans into agreeing with him that they should be upset at Fansproject for Shadow Scythe having the wrong colors.

 

I have to agree. Given the limited nature and high demand of the item, this thread just seems like poor form.

 

I'm disappointed with Shadow Scyther (Final product) mainly because:

1) His purple flames were lacking.

2) The mold seemed to fit Wildrider better.

3) I must now spend an inflated amount to get myself another Shadow Scyther kit (so that I may put it on Wildrider. If that day ever comes, that is.)

 

 

I don't get it. It looks just fine with SG Rodimus. The trailer especially seems decoed for Rodimus.

Will considering I don't have any of the mentioned and wish I did can't say I'm surprised its more wildrider considering FP home is in the asian market and not the USA, so making it match Henkei instead of SG makes way more sense to me because FP does do these projects for themselves as well as for the masses

 

I LOVE mine and it doesn't bother me at all! I see where some would be upset, but I am completely happy with my purchase. It is a very sleek add on and looks menacing in both Vehicle and bot modes! So to answer the OP's question - No, I am not mad... at al  

 

Guys, it works on both figures which is a feat in and of itself. Though it is odd that Fansproject didn't even throw some promotional shots of the final thing out for the internet to gaze at in the limbo between the releases.

All in all, I'm sure the Repolabel guys got your back if you really want those purple highlights.

 

In car mode, it looks great with SG Rodimus because of the black on the bottom of the trailer. In robot mode, it could go for either. Like others have said, reprolabel could make a purple flame, purple head brest, and purple ankle stickers to solve the problem.

 

It's still god damn awesome with SG Rodimus.
