Vote who you think the fire truck is. I can't decide because it's really a close call between the two characters and I want to know your opinions.

At Chicago the security guard at the parking with Prime and the fire truck called it Sentinel Prime father of Optimus Prime. Whether it is fact we do not know.

From the teaser we know through the mark on the right chest that the gold silver bot is of the Dynasty of Prime. Not the original seven but a descendant like Optimus. Optimus has his symbol by the ear.

Could this be Sentinel Prime? Only time will tell. But we have to note Sentinel Prime was mentioned to have led an expedition by Sam in ROTF.

According to Nelson the ship on the moon is the Ark.

Didn't Nelson say that the fire truck was a re-imagining of a iconic Character? so my guess is that it's either SilverBolt (hope not but its possible) or that the gold bot is Alpha Trion and that is his vehicle mode, remember that the vehicles may have code names like Barricade and Brawl did in the first movie, so i wouldnt trust a security guard who isnt privy to actual Info.

 

Yeah, i remember him saying something along the lines of the re-imagining being as potentially divisive as flames on a longnose truck.

My money is on Magnus or (sod it, why not) Grimlock.

When I think Transformers, I don't usually think Silverbolt. He's not that iconic, really as say, Soundwave or the like.

I mean, Beast Wars Silverbolt is more iconic than him. (I also laugh that ever since Silverbolt was confirmed to be in the movie, people think that every single vehicle, robot and concept art we see is him)

 

I hope it's Inferno, Inferno's always awesome from being a Ironhide K.O to a Pyromaniac Megatron fanatical to the Hyde/Jekyll Autobot/Decepticon turncoat and self-sacrificer.

What if its Rodimus Prime? Just a crazy thought. But he is Iconic, and it would be a reimagining. It also makes sense with the guard calling him prime. Maybe he only saw animated and mistakenly said sentinel. I don't know, just a guess.

 

For now my opinion is we do not know we have no solid confirmation on the identity and the word of a rent a cop don't hold much water with me.

Inferno, Ultra Magnus would be my preferred choices.

I think that Rodimus will be in this movie. I've been figuring he is the Ferrari, but the Fire Truck is an interesting idea...
Have we seen the Ferrari and Fire Truck together? Maybe both are Rodimus? Like the G1 movie where he goes from Hot Rod to Rodimus... Maybe he will start the film as a Ferrari and then get the matrix and become a Prime - and the fire truck?
Just an idea of purely stupid speculation... I do not think Bay would rehash that idea, in all honesty.
