So I've trying to complete my classics collection. I've been keeping my eye on [EBAYLINK="320179261807"]this[/EBAYLINK]. He had the prime one as well.

I thought his price was nucking futs, so for two months or so I've been submitting best offers. His last counter offer to me was $85 + 15 shipping each. I offered $160 + 15 shipping for both.

    His reply was:
$160 plus $15 is too low for both items. these 2 MOC figures are impossible to find. thanks for your interest

    My response was:

288 Plus 30 shipping is extravagant for two deluxes that saw wide release in Europe, with little interest in the states since they were released at mass retail, and the only thing that distinguishes them is the packaging. Let me know when you get tired of these warming your shelves and would part with them for under $200. Thanks for your time.

I know it was a little snarky, but seriously, who is dreaming? Me or him?

well, first of all i still think its insane these two go for so much...i just dont understand the appeal at all...that said...160 plus 15 shipping is 175 total...and he wants 85, plus 15 shipping on each? that's 200 bucks...it seems like a fair deal to me, and i would take it. but some people "know" how much something is worth far more then anyone else, so asking outrageous prices isn't a concern...and yeah, its possible someone will come along eventually and pay that much, but still highly improbable...and if he's in the US, and won't combine shipping then he's just a douche

Yup, it's in the USA. $15 is outrageous even for two. Could send this priority with insurance for under 10 and still make a profit. Anyway, I did ask him to come under $200, but it's still seems overpriced, but I haven't seen these anywhere else, even Botcon.

I have them opened and the two pack MISB. I wanted the carded ones because they weren't released in the states. I would like them MOSC, but not for almost $300.

He is definitely the crazy one.

Like Spacebridge just proved, I would try the uk ebay site first for those single packed ones, they were very common round here for a while.

Wow, thanks hitch! I thought the UK ebay would pop up on the states version, since I see foreign bidders on my auctions all the time.

    That is great!

Put a bid in for the megs, well see if I can find a prime. Thank you!

If you are collecting all Classics you may want to know in Europe we had the Megs/Prime 2 pack in a different box, was about 60% of the size of the US box

I'll see if I can dig up a Prime for you

Sorta orange, and without the DVD? I think that's similar to the second version of the two-pack we got in the US as well.

That's absolutely insane. I wouldn't pay more than $14 for that.
