While Henry Silva's take on Bane will always be the iconic voice, for me at least, I have to say that I like Danny Trejo's version better. Has the accent that Bane should have, sounds intelligent like Bane should, and still sounds as threatening as he should.

I actually prefer Hector Elizondo's Bane voice to Henry Silva's. The reason is that Silva's version of Bane wasn't really written to be too threatening. His voice was fine, but the character was not written very well. Silva's best outing as Bane was as the hallucination when he kills Batman and Gordon. Hector Elizondo was the second actor to play Bane in B:TAS (I don't know why Henry Silva stopped doing it), and Hector had the Latino accent and he sounded both smart and threatening. I'm sure Silva's voice would be iconic if he had better material, though.

Jeep Swenson, because his role as bane, was down right hilariously bad :lol

though it's not his fault, as it was written that way.

but all kiddingness aside, i do like the animated one most. especially in his first episode. made me LOVE the character Bane. and made me despise the batman and robin one for awhile. but then i got rifftrax, and now i love that Bane :lol

Actor Tom Hardy has stated that he intends to portray the character as "more menacing" than in Batman & Robin and gained 30 pounds (14 kg) of muscle for the role.

    Tom Hardy's gonna rock Bane.

Honestly my fav voice of Bane, isn't Henry Silva because i never seen Batman The Animated series, I'd probably go with Fred Tatasciore for now as he is good with brutes like the Hulk and Beast, hell he even did Megatron in War For Cybertron.

just as long as they don't take Bane's character too seriously, like they did with the joker!

Oh, ok. I couldn't tell if your comment was meant to be positive or negative. In retrospect, I'm not sure how I thought it could have been negative, lol...

Anyways, them having Bane speak some Spanish in Young Justice was a nice touch, imo. Keeps his heritage involved, and since they had Trejo voicing him, it was smart of them to take the opportunity to have him speak in Spanish, if for just a little bit.

Henry Siva takes the win IMO. His performance in TAS was memorable. I still recall watching Bane's first first appearance and I was telling myself the VA captured his voice so well.
