Rachet did kill Brawl. He just waited around the corner for Jazz and Ironhide to do the hard work, then came and finished him off.

 

Why the hell do people bring this back? Just face it, Sideswipe won.

Bumblebee killed Brawl, Ratchet sliced off his right arm.

 

Yeah, Ratchet only sliced off a part of Brawl while he was fighting it with Jazz. Bumblebee was the one that chest shotted him after he lost his legs and was driving on the pickup truck.

I also noticed Ratchet is the only one of the original five Autobots that hasn't been seriously hurt or killed for the past three movies. Jazz died, Ironhide died, Optimus died, got revived, lost his arm, and Bumblebee lost his legs. I guess it makes sense though because it's a good idea to leave the medic safe so they don't get hurt and are able to heal other people.

As for the original poll, I voted Sideswipe. He's pro and it seems like he knows what he's doing anyways.

Ratchet is more of a close confidant. If either of them were to be second, though, it'd be Sideswipe.

He didn't, and Ironhide never landed a hit on Brawl. (I'm not kidding, go watch. Despite all his flips and jumps his shots all go wild  ) Ratchet did, however, cut his arm off and shoot him in the face at least three times with a heavier-caliber gun. (instead of his machine gun) So he certainly helped, and he and Ironhide chased Megatron and Starscream away all by themselves while Sideswipe and the Twins covered BB and Sam.
